  1. Hi all, I hope you had a great Christmas and are enjoying the start of the New Year (Fingers crossed its better than the last!) So as the subject states this is a sanity check and hopefully someone who has gone down this route with a build can give a little insight / info regarding their knowledge of the chassis. Current setup: Fractal Define R6 Asus Maximus XII I9 10900k (With EK Velocity block) Asus TUF 3090 OC (With EK Vector block) 1x EK 360 PE Rad 1x EK 240 SE Rad EK Revo140 Pump / Res combo (D5) the 360 PE is on the front and the 240 SE is on the top, since adding the 3090 RTX temps have risen (as expected) ever so slightly but are still pretty good however, I have been looking to shift this kit into another case and the O11D XL seems like an obvious choice as it gives me the ability to introduce more cooling surface and do a nice Hard tube build using the side Distro plate. I was thinking of going with another 360 PE (maybe even an XE) to match the current 360 I have and go for a top and bottom rad config but was wondering what kind of performance others have seen with this config. My home office (ahem games room) allows me plenty of desk space so airflow underneath isn't really an issue but would love to hear what other peoples findings with this setup have been so far prior to me hitting checkout on this hefty shopping cart Any feedback would be much appreciated. Once again, all the best and happy new year! Stylee
  2. You have answered the question I have been asking which is does the O11 XL fit the Asus TUF 3090 with the EK Vector so thank you :) How have you found your temps, I am running a 10900k and the TUF 3090 in a Fractal Define 6 chassis on a EK 240 se and an EK 360 pe, although my temps are good I am limited as to what I can cram into the case so just putting my order together for the O11 XL but was thinking of going for the 360 xe on the bottom and the 360 pe on the top. Given you have recently built in this chassis do you think it would happily accommodate the 60mm rad in the bottom happily? You build looks really nice, good work for your first custom loop, looks like our EK TUF blocks may be from the same batch with the terminal cover LED bleeding through, I have contacted EK who are sending me a replacement terminal cover just in case it was bugging you also :) All the ebst and Happy New Year Stylee
  3. I used a Kraken x61 for just over a year, never had any issues with it at all, now that the x62 is out you will probably get one pretty cheap. To add to that NZXT customer support is really good, I have had spare case parts etc sent over from the US to the UK before now and they are always happy to help
  4. Currently running just Distilled water with no Biocide or Coils, I am draining the system tomorrow to fit my drain port so am thinking of switching the coolant out for a lear premix as you cant see my machines when its in its home Any recommendations would be great, so far looking at the EKWB Cryo clear pre mix and the Mayhems, any of you guys using them? Cheers Stylee
  5. Thanks W-L just thought I would ask for a sanity check before I did it Fitting a drain port too while I am draining the system, torn as to which Premix to go for, I am keeping the coolant clear as unless I pull my rig out from my desk you cant actually see it, any reccomendations would be appreciated Cheers Stylee
  6. Hi guys, So I built my loop just under a week ago which consists of cpu/gpu and a 360mm Radiator, It has so far only been filled with Mayhems Pure H20 distilled water with no biocide/kill coil or dye and it has been perfect from a performance point of view. I have been reading up and toying with the notion of draining and filling with a premix (probably Mayhems), now before building my loop the blocks and radiator were thoroughly flushed and cleaned using distilled water so I was wondering if I still needed to re-flush them seeing as it has only had pure distilled water running through the loop and has been built for less than a week. the other alternative is I just stick with the distilled water and add a drop of biocide? May sound like a silly question but I would rather a second opinion before I do it, would be great if I didn't have to strip the whole lot down after such a short period of time Cheers Stylee
