  1. i have checked all cables, the cpu block is on firmly, the buttons are all plugged in on the right pins and work except when the computer does the hard stop thing or whatever is causing it. when i talked about the power button not working i meant it only when that specific crash happened, (black screen, all rgb elements still on, nothing being unresponsive the led indicator giving the all good) and the psu i use is the evga 750 watt gq semi modular 80+ gold, i have a gtx 1080 and as mentioned before a r5 1600, so i should have plenty of power.
  2. here it is, (i drained my loop because of a small leak on one of the fittings, the blue is dried coolant. so i don't have a picture of the air but i can take a pic of the thread) the gap i am talking about is caused by the seal, and i know that microbubbles are unavoidable and that a little air wont affect performance, but i just want it for aesthetics. if its impossble of very difficult to get rid of the air then i wont bother.
  3. its not micro bubbles, its at the top of the rad where the lid screws on, there is some room between the top of the threads on the lid and the actual top, so there is a gap between the top water level and the lid.
  4. my computer an amd r5 1600, asus strix b350f gaming, 16gb of gskill ddr4@ 3000mhz will (seemingly and) randomly crash, and reboot, like no power off sequence the screen goes black the indicator led goes red and it turns back on, i also have problems with it crashing, screen goes black everything is unresponsive the power button doesnt even work i have to flip the psu switch, i have lost many unsaved projects, and its just generally annoying.
  5. in my case(fractal design meshify c) i have done a custom loop, and i have to mount my 250mm res pump combo under the graphics card, so the bottom of the case. i filled it as full as i could and pumped the coolant into every corner of the loop, i filled the res to the brim, but the lid has a little room between the thread and its top, so i got some air, is there any way to get rid of it?
  6. ok while it may be possible to get a terabyte of ram you have to have a server mobo and 4 server cpu's(i'm pretty sure) and a server cpu which isn't cheap, as you said, so i know that this kid doesn't have that much ram.
  7. what is the SPD write danger? i don't know what that is. and i used the motherboards auto overclocker(i forget what it is called) and it had been working fine.
  8. i will try to go down on the clock when i get home.
  9. When you have people talk about stuff that is impossible: "my computer has a terabyte of ram." "My phone has 16gb of ram." or when people call a solid state a hard drive. the solid and hard refer to the type of disk(I'm pretty sure). like how a floppy disk is called "floppy" because it is floppy. i also know some one from school who wants to build a pc to do 1440p gaming at 60fps and is convinced to do that you need the newest i7, 64gb of ram, and 2 water-cooled titan xp's(he wants to buy a pre-built), and i have tried to explain he really only needs an i5 16gb of ram and a 1070, maybe a 1070ti. So just people who try to sound smart about something they have no idea about to someone who knows their shit.
  10. ok thanks, when i am at home i will try to change that, i have it clocked to that because most people say ryzen likes higher ram speeds.
  11. i currently am at school but will try when i get home, will report back then. thanks
  12. the ram is actually running within the rated frequency. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232487&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
  13. yes i have, when i last reseated eveything i made sure everything was plugged in.
  14. My pc has been working fine for the past 3 or so months but a while ago it just stopped, the screen went blank and i couldn't turn it off, the fans spun and the ram and mother board rgb accents still had power but the pc was unresponsive. I took everything out and reseated the cpu and the ram(as that is something i have heard ryzen is percullar about) but still nothing i reseated it again and it worked, just yesterday it happened again and i was wondering if anybody else has had the same problem and has a better solution. Cpu: R5 1600 Mobo: asus strix b350-f gaming Ram: G.skill trident z rgb 3000mhz if it helps the cpu cooler is the bequiet dark base pro.
