  1. So I just fixed the issue, apparently, the 26 pin power connector got loose and me checking that cable just wasn't a thought I had at the moment. Thanks for your help though!
  2. Just did, nothing new happened. still blank screen and nothing showed up. So I guess it's not a problem with the GPU
  3. Yeah they do, I'm guessing the problem has to do with my GPU or something like that
  4. So first off, the spec list is PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel - Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz Dual-Core Processor ($79.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Memory: Patriot - Viper Elite 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-2800 Memory ($42.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital - RE3 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1050 2 GB AERO ITX Video Card ($134.99 @ B&H) Case: Thermaltake - Versa H15 MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($29.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($47.98 @ Newegg) Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-06-24 12:23 EDT-0400 , whenever I try to turn the computer on, the motherboard light lights up, but the monitor shows zero activity, it doesn't even show the bios screen, or the startup commands for the bios. I checked the inside of the computer, it seem's that it's all connected properly, but it still just doesn't show anything on the monitor, I tried it out with a different monitor, and I achieved the same result. So I've deducted that this is a computer issue, but I am unsure of what it could be. the HDMI cabled I am using is plugged in properly. I could use some help. Thank you
  5. That may be true, I’ll make sure to see if everything is mounted properly and I’ll listen for the sound on my other build.
  6. Well I’ve used this same hdd in another build and it doesn’t make this noise?
  7. I’ll check the fans, and I’ll try that.
  8. The clicking is pretty random, if you’ve ever played a game like Rust, it sounds like the radiation sound. But the clicking will be random and will usually make more noise on startup.
  9. So my brothers computer I built had been working fine for a while and then we started hearing a low, clicking noise that seems to be coming from either the hard drive or the motherboard. Spec list is PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel - Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor ($57.69 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($49.99 @ Newegg) Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($94.95 @ Adorama) Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($43.85 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Video Card ($194.98 @ Newegg) Case: Rosewill - FBM-01 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($24.99 @ Amazon) Total: $466.45 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-05-02 21:23 EDT-0400 Should I disassemble the entire thing and see if I may have done something wrong assembling it? Or has anyone else had the same problem. Also for some reason no product keys will work for the free windows 8.1 to windows 10 upgrade. If anyone knows any working ones and could tell them that would be appreciated
  10. I boot up the computer, it gives me the error. It restarts and tries to repair windows, then it tells me It gives me an error saying it can’t. I go into the troubleshooting part and I go to the cmd option and did a scan command. It told me I just needed to restart again. Which starts the cycle over again.
  11. I’ve tried that, it told me to put in the disk with windows on it. I then tried to install windows. It told me to restart the computer. I did that and it brought me to the same critical error died message
  12. My brothers new computer was working fine for a while. Until it now comes up with a “critical process died” error. I googled the problem and it told me to do some “sfc/scannow” command into the cmd option. It told me that my computer has a repair pending and that I just needed to restart, all sounds good right? Well when I restart it goes to a screen saying it’s preparing the repair, diagnosing, and attempting repairs on my computer. Then the next thing I️ see is a “automatic repair couldn’t repair your pc, press advanced options to try other options to repair your pc or shut down to turn off your pc” I’ve tried everything in the advanced options tab, troubleshooting, refreshing, and then like I’ve said I’ve tried to sfc/scannow thing. It’s a cycle that i don’t know how to stop.
