  1. i tried it with the old psu just now, and got the same results. when i moved everything over i did take the aio pump off the motherboard and when i put it back on it was pushing against one of my ram sticks, i just repasted and fixed that. hopefully it was a bad contact issue with the ram. If the problem continues ill pull the board out and try it on my desk. my temps are lower and have no fluctuations now, before they would kinda bounce around a little
  2. So i just changed cases and put in a new power supply on my gaming pc. Since then it will randomly hard lock/crash. When i shut it down and turn it back on, it will power cycle the entire system over and over until i kill the power on the psu and wait for about 20 seconds and switch it back on. I changed my CX750M for an RM750E. As long as i dont try to launch any games or do anything more demanding than google or discord its fine for as long as i want to use it. I have an i7 8700, 32gb of ddr4, rtx 2080 super, that all running off an msi z370 sli plus. I havent had any issues out of it until the case and psu change. All my temps are fine, all my drivers are up to date, its been running in the same config since early 2023. I havent tried changing back to the old psu yet, but i just want to see if yall have any input.
  3. yeah, i already started the return process. im just gonna get my money back and use an air cooler.
  4. i bought an h150i capellix today, and i hooked it up to my spare pc to test it, and it works fine for about a minute and then it starts flashing red and ramps the fans up. I hooked it up to my main pc to verify icue and everything registers in the icue software. It does have a pump failure error in icue. if i power cycle the commander by unplugging the sata power and plugging it back in, it goes back to working for a minute and then back to flashing red. Before anyone asks, neither motherboard has an aio pump header, just cpu fan headers.
  5. i havent tried that yet, but ill give it a shot here in a little bit
  6. Im building a new computer, its not in its final for yet, specs are i3 8100T<- soon to be i7 8700k once i find one thats affordable, 32gb ddr4,2x rx480, Nzxt Kraken x53, 2tb WD, 256gb Samsung SSD, Corsair CX650M, and I would like to experiment with optane, i have an optane drive already, and the computer works great. The problem is when i enable the optane, it disables all of my drives but the optane drive. and the only way to get my pc to boot is to disable optane. Is there something im doing wring, or is it a common issue?
  7. or at least tell me a good company that i can get a reliable router from that can handle me playing games and video streaming
  8. I want to build a router that takes my dsl line in using a pci card like the old days type stuff and then run a single rj45 card to a switch, would that even work or is it a pipe dream? I know most of the ins and outs of assembly of computer hardware and i know that those old dial up cards are useless these days, but is there any way i can do this? i have gone through 4 new routers in the last 2 years where i live and ive had enough, they cost too much to keep replacing and they refuse to warranty them even though i dont mess with them or open them up. ANY responses are welcome and all ideas are as well
  9. i have some old ass socket 604 xeons that i will post here later... i have to get to class tho so itll be around 10pm cst
  10. @-rascal- Thats what im sayin... its weird that neither one can tell me anything, but oh well... whats done is done... ill never buy ASUS/NVIDIA partner products again... i will eventually go back to nvidia later this year
  11. @WoodenMarker I am running the test now... 95% pass 0 errors 47 mins in
  12. @WoodenMarker it isnt a kit at all... its 10GB of ddr3 that i had lying around... it hasnt given me issues until now. i have a 4gb stick and 3x2gb sticks
  13. @WoodenMarker I have not tried that yet. I am using a mix of samsung ram and something else ram but its all DDR3 1333MHZ
  14. @CryptoMatt I have an intel system right next to me that is waiting to be delivered to my aunt C2Q Q8300. Runs great but its too old for my games and its not unlocked for overclocking. I have used intel as a gaming rig a while back but AMD is a hell of a lot more wallet friendly
  15. @WoodenMarker I can try to reproduce it but all i was doing is looking at newegg and listening to music on youtube and then it bsod on me and then i let it gather "its crash info" and then restarted my pc and it booted just fine not a single issue with windows since then
