the pc building community has put so much emphasis on liquid cooling, overclocked i7's and gtx 1080's all for achieving 144 fps. then i try 144 hz and it's not THAT special. kinda deflating moment.

Honestly 4k is one of the things I'm not impressed with, its not something I can notice at my viewing distance but I can agree 120Hz isn't the the be all end all, I do prefer faster fps but 60 is perfectly fine.
(oh and I dislike liquid cooling due to its price an how much a pain it is to keep up with)
