  1. Duck Game. Hands down the best thing that has happened to my group of friends. - Samo
  2. Certain Multiplayer games where it's a free-for-all and there is barely any teamwork, unless in a clan, yes. I never rage. On the flip side I do play an MORPG (Yes MORPG), a small niche game and the community is great. It can either be a full on player fest or as quiet as any SP sandbox, depending on where you are playing on the map. My 2c. - Sam
  3. You do realize you can just favourite the mod? It's on the mods main page in the workshop under the image, favourite the mod and unsubscribe. That way the mods won't download AND you can reference them later! Win, WIn! And to remove them, I have no idea. Never used Workshop for mods. Nexus is that much better imo. - Samo
  4. Completely different, that is from the vague memories of ME3. DA:I is like a Single Player MMO, in a good way. HEAPS of quests (Some are boring as hell, some are amazing) and large areas to explore. The game is just amazing - Samo PS: Don't stay in the Hinterlands to long or else you'll hate the game, go to another location when you can!
  5. I've been playing without prior knowledge and I've found that although some references I don't get (Due to seeing characters names on DA: Keep, so I know it's a reference) but it's a very good game regardless. - Sam
  6. Most played game so far would be Minecraft (Not sure how many hours but a couple of thousand, minimum). After that I'd say Wurm Online, I've got 40+ days (1000+ hours) of game time logged. - Sam
  7. I did! I'm thinking of melting her for the Orion, not sure yet. But I really like my party bus - Samo
  8. Yea. Anything expensive is a no no for me. As well as bulky stuff, like cases. - Sam
  9. Yea. For example, I just bought a Samsung 850 EVO 500gb from those sales a week ago. It's a good $70+ cheaper including shipping, than buying it here.
  10. I used to only buy from PB Tech, but after a bad experience and crazy stupid prices, I've started buying and shipping the small, expensive things, over from the U.S.A. - Sam.
  11. Perfectly said. To contrast that, I'll talk a bit about Wurm Online. It's main focus is survival and survival alone. It's has food and water mechanics that make the game how it is. Run out of water? Boom, no stamina. Now you walk slower (as in slow) and all your attacks against mobs and reduced and have a higher chance to miss. Coupled with a skill system that will keep you playing until you max level every skill (no one has yet to do this, despite the game being out for 8+ years). Anyway, it's a great game and if anyone wants to play, I'll set some time aside and start playing again - Sam
  12. Depends, on what you want in a survival game. If it's surviving with other players and working up your characters skills, I'd suggest Wurm Online. But any of the current generic survival are good in their own respects, just pick one and go for it. - Sam
  13. Total Biscuit did a test on his rig and found that the only thing that has a significant change in FPS is view distance. All other options had a +-2 FPS impact, then again he does have SLI 980s (But even without SLI he still got relatively the same FPS). As others have said, just play around with settings. Turn your view distance to minimum and work from there. It has a minor visual impact besides the minor pop in of some signs (like on drug stores) and the Biters are seen easily from far away at minimum. - Sam
  14. It really depends on what you mean by heavily modded. If it's all 4k+ textures and lighting mods you will probably hit it. I ran a heavily modded Skyrim on a 560 and it was fine, as in heaps (20+) of visual mods. As long as you're sensible about modding, you won't hit it, but if you download 55 texture mods that overwrite each other etc. you will hit it. PS. Posting a list of mods would greatly help too, I'm in the process of modding Skyrim on my 780Ti using STEP as a baseline, highly recommend it for efficient modding. - Sam
  15. PS: Reduce draw distance to minimum, TB did a test on it and having it maxed out halved his FPS in any given area. That should hopefully boost you to 60fps and as others have said, the game is horribly optimized at the moment. I get the odd stuttering (I7 4790K and 780Ti), but haven't had the Audio problem yet. The game's really fun when you get further in and I hope they fix this issue in the next patch! - Sam
  16. I joined the LTT Arma Group and I'm almost always online on Steam. So if you ever need someone to team up with, I am your guy! (PS: I've got an X55 Rhino I really need to learn how to fly better, I mean I can FLY better than most but there is always room for improvement! ) - Sam
  17. Correct, I'll grab a pic of my one now. Edit - I have this one
  18. Same here, although I picked up a cheap $3 USB sound card and it works like a charm.
  19. Honestly it's worth a shot. I just did a sound test with and without the adapter. No static noise when it's in the adapter and it does sound better, how it should sound when I listen to other videos. - Sam
  20. Well you could be having the same problem as me! This did the trick and it works flawlessly
  21. 'Star Citizen Digital Download' is the full game access, so yes you have the full game. Beta access if for the Persistent Universe which comes out at the end of this year. Because you have the Arena Commander Pass, you can play module 1 of alpha, which is the dog fighting arena. You will need to purchase other passes for the modules to come this year (FPS, Social, Planetside) if you want to play them. Although the Beta will contain all these features when it launches. Alpha actually. Although it really depends on your point of view.
  22. Look up S.T.E.P. it's a great modding guide. It provides very good information on each mod as well as different levels of modablilty. E.g. you can install the 'Core' mods and improve the base Skyrim experience. Then move on to Extended etc. There's too many mods to recommend, it's best to just look up a guide on mods and recommended mods and mix and match. It also depends on what you're looking for too. *Edit* Use Steam Workshop for easibility, but it has a small amounts of mods compared to Nexus. Install is simply subscribe and wait for the download. Use Nexus if you want to get the most out of your game and want to take care and pride in your modding experience It takes ages to get heaps of mods and get them all properly working, but it is well worth it.
  23. Well, it's nearly modding mania for me and my 'ol pal Skyrim! Just waiting on my internet upgrade and unlimited, then mods galore! - Samo
