  1. So before I buy, I wanted to make sure I could achieve what Im hoping to achieve and not disappoint myself when it comes to build day. I love the look of the three RGB fans at the front of Corsair's Crystal series Cases (in my build im planning on using the 460x) This is also my first build where I plan on using an AIO cooler for my CPU. I want to mount the 240mm Rad at the front of the case, without compromising two RGB fans in the front. Could I mount the two SP120 RGB fans included with the case to push air through the rad into the case instead of using the two included 120mm NZXT fans that come with the Kraken? I was planning on using the two fans that come with the cooler as exhaust in the back of the case as the 460x doesn't come with any exhaust fans out of the box. Thanks in advance!

    The Game Cube

beware of Nintendo build looks cool!
  3. I bought my GPU about a year ago and dont plan on upgrading it until later down the road. As i said i dont do too much gaming and the games I do run I can play on reasonable settings still. And unfortunately a lot of plugins and other content creation tools I use wont benefit from faster/better gpus
  4. For right now, this is what i plan to build. I can upgrade my parts list when the new chips roll out and I can find a good reason to buy one of those over the current generation. (ex: a reasonable performance upgrade for the extra 50$ )
  5. Planning on building a new system this coming holiday season when i have a little more spending money. I recently started peeking into the world of overclocking and im really interested in squeezing the most performance out of the cpu i have chosen. Ive seen plenty of people reach 5 GHz on this chip, and was wondering if some people would like to share how far they could push their chip! When sharing, it would be helpful to include the MOBO you are using and your CPU cooler aswell! If anyone is curious, im mostly going to be handling my video editing/graphic design on this machine with some light gaming here and there. Im heavy into content creation in After Effects and Cinema 4D. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RvHGQV Also, this is my first time using an AIO cooler instead of an air cooler, so i was curious as to how much of a return in terms of overclocking performance i can get using liquid cooling over air cooling.
