  1. I am trying to complete a triple 4K monitor setup with no luck.LG 27UD68-P monitor is in the center. Left and right are two LG 27UD69P-W.27UD68-P (center) +27UD69P-W (left and right)This are the exact factory model numbers. The center monitor 27UD68-P is way brighter than the ones on the sides. Even the left and right monitors are displaying different color even if they are exact the same.I messed with all the settings the UD69P-W monitors are displaying a yellowish white.I went over and over the specs of this monitors and only difference I could find in between these models is that the UD68-P has the brightness at 350cd/m2 whereas the UD69P-W has a lower value 300cd/m2.I would appreciate any ideas about how to fix this issue:1. return the 27UDP69-W two monitors and get the exact older version 27UD68-P?2. is there any way I can fine tune the monitors to match the colors. Mostly the whites and the blacks which are faded in the newer model.
  2. There is a trend among audiophiles to avoid Bose. I had Bose companion 3 for more than five years and I can tell they sound great. I had Logitech too. Do yourself a favor, get the Bose.
  3. No matter which SSD+HDD you will choose, make sure that you will set the OS environment variables TMP and TEMP from C:\ (SSD) to your HDD. You will have a less writes and reads on your SSD.
  4. Very good point, I had the same problem/question when I started my 72" long desk PC. I choose this desk length thinking of three monitors setup which is quite wide. Also I was thinking that at some point I might want to move on a water cooling system so I wanted to make sure that I have enough room for everything. Populating this 72x32" enclosed glass top was a big challenge. Even if I decided to place the PSU right in the middle, there is a limit of how far you can stretch the components power cables. Even if I order the longest cables on the market I couldn't set the components aside the way I wanted. ( for the SATA I have 1,5 meter cable). Not to mention all the 5.25 bays mounted on the front of the desk. It was impossible to evenly distribute all the components . I choose to jam the left side with most of the components and on the right I stretched the SATA and power cables to the max to setup the storage ( SSD+HDD). I bet that it will not be long until the Nzxt and other cool guys are going to come up with products that will let PC builders and Modders to flip and place components wherever they want - from the ceiling to the floor if their design will require. For now I am very happy with my fan cooling desk PC. Very quiet and surprisingly cool. The only thing I don't like about this desk PC is the blunt squarish shape, looks kinna' dumb. If anybody has any idea about how to place hard drives about 5 or 6 feet away from the motherboard please bring it on the table. Looks like there are many in need for a solution for this,
  5. When I graduated High School with a degree in Electrotechnics the computer was able to perform successfully additions and subtractions at a blistering clock speed of 33mhz LOL. I would not consider myself a modder but I built a bunch of very unusual computers. The latest ,for which I updated the specs, is my pride and joy.  In the pictures are two other projects, Framed PC (lights connected to PSU) and media column sculpture PC (wireless media tower).

      Super like that is awesome

  6. This is my solo project with 5.1 surround with triple on wall custom monitor mount. The hardware might be a bit old and outdated but is running very smooth.
  7.  After a SOLO secular journey which lasted three months I managed to came up to my version of legendary "built in desk PC". I would gladly answer any questions for thee courageous who are into this kind of nerve wrecking project. All I can say is that with basic computer knowledge and PHD in carpentry this project is doable, and rewarding. Any questions and feedbacks are welcome.
