  1. Sorry, I set it to public now. We did not OC. Is there any way of finding out whether it actually is the motherboard? Except for replacing it, ofc.
  2. Hey guys, on the weekend, I assembled a PC for my brother, but we ran into a few issues which I feel super bad about since this is his first real PC and now it won't work. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/Freakspot/saved/JTV27P This is the build we're using with Windows 10 Pro 64bit. (It's actually 2x8gb of RAM, not 1x16gb.) The issues we're having is that the PC sometimes on startup or shutdown (and one time when we ran Userbenchmark) goes unresponsive: We start the PC and as soon as the Windows login screen shows, it's simply dead (but this doesn't happen 100% of the time). The clock won't update and you cannot move your mouse. We flashed the Bios to the newest version and our GPU drivers seem to be up to date, too. Another weird thing that's happened, is that when we swapped the GPU to the other slot, the screen was tinted green. A restart solved this issue, but still. Additionally, under Devices and Printers, "Desktop" shows up with a warning sign, because "PCI device drivers are not up to date" (or something along those lines). IIRC it shows code 28. However, I'm unsure what PCI devices that's refering to? I kinda suspect the motherboard being borked, because it was shipped with a fairly significant dent in the box indicating it's been dropped before. However, I'm most certainly still a noob at this, so I would incredibly appreciate your input, guys! Please help me!
  3. Hey guys, I'm currently looking for a cheap 2in1 detachable laptop mostly for university and maybe super-light gaming and coding. However I could live without that and use it for uni exclusively. It seems as though my options are fairly limited as I was aiming for less than 500€. In that range, I pretty much only found the Asus T102HA which does seem like a fine laptop, but the resolution of 1280x800 bothers me a little. I also eyed with the Lenovo Miix 320, any experiences with those two? Also, the Chuwi SurBook and the Eve V seemed like insanely good deals, but I'm hesitant to support not so established companies especially when delivery times are super uncertain since I'd like to start using the laptop asap - university begins in about two weeks! I'd love to hear any other suggestions you guys might come up with. Thanks in advance to everyone! As I'm not from NA please keep in mind that links to shops might not be all that useful unless it's €. I do however appreciate recommendations and experiences of any kind! Edit: I forgot to mention that I was also thinking about the Huawei MateBook because I love my Huawei Smartphone and wouldn't mind spending a little more money if it's really worth it which would seem to be the case with that one.
