I've been into tech for as long as I can remember. I got my own first piece of tech when I was just 5 years old. It was an iPod Shuffle 4th Generation. That same year I got a cell phone because my dad was away from home a lot and as a typical 5-year old I missed him dearly. I purchased my first piece of tech with my own money when I was 10 and it was an iPod touch 4th Generation. I received my first laptop when I was 10 as well. It was a Dell Studio 1537 running on two of the most hated architectures in PC history. Windows Vista and the Intel Core Duo lol! Technically joined the PCMasterRace in 2014 though. My favorite PC brands are Corsair, MSI, AMD, and Nvidia.

  1. I have not, I've been super busy lately! ?
  2. This is my first build ever! The theme is red and black with some white LEDs here and there. The name "Doragon" is the Japanese word for dragon, more specifically in reference to a western dragon. I would love to hear y'alls feedback, both positive and negative. Feel free to give your opinions on what I could have done better with the way it is built and managed. Before anyone says anything, I know the Ryzen 1600 is a better bang for the buck than the 1600X but it was on sale at the time so why not get a little more overclocking headroom! Here is the parts list: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X MOBO: Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero (WI-FI AC) RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 16GB (2x8) DDR4 3200MHz GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Case: Corsair Carbide Series 275R Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB (Boot) and Western Digital Blue 1TB (Mass) PSU: Corsair RMX 650W CPU Cooler: MSI Core Frozr L Fans: Corsair AF120 Red LED Quiet Edition High Airflow Fans Lighting: DeepCool RGB 350 LED Strips Peripherals: Keyboard: Corsair Strafe w/ Cherry MX Red Switches Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB Mouse Pad: Corsair Polaris MM800 RGB I'm sorry the pictures are not great but I just am in love with the lighting!
  3. That is definitely an option. Why didn't I think of that?! Thank you AirSocial!
  4. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the white LED strip on the bottom of the front panel of the Corsair 275R? If so, how and where would I find a red LED strip replacement?
  5. Is it normal for Asus' Aura Sync software to not save its color profiles? Every time I want to shut down my computer with my system set to static red under the "sync at shutdown" tab, I have to apply these settings. When I boot my system it will not have the profile set that I had applied before shutting down. It even occurs when I just put my computer to sleep sometimes. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, what are some possible solutions?
  6. My case can support up to a 360mm radiator but only in the front of my chassis. The only problem is that the 275R doesn't have a whole lot of airflow with its front panel. I think a top-mounted 280mm radiator would be the best for value as you stated above, and it's the second largest radiator I could possibly fit in my build. Thank you for your help!
  7. I have built myself a PC and am wondering for future reference, what size my AIO should be? I currently am cooling my PC with AF120 fans and an MSI Core Frozr L. I plan on upgrading to an AIO in two years or so, and once I upgrade my system's CPU and GPU in a few years, I will then move on to CLC. I definitely know that I want to go with Corsair and no smaller than a 240mm size. What are your guy's opinions on switching to a Corsair H100i, H115i, or H150i? I know it's way in advance, but I'm just curious and who knows, maybe I will upgrade sooner than anticipated! Thanks!
  8. Probably could change them out. Don't mind a little work! True!
  9. So I am building a PC and am on the fence about what case to choose. Should I go with the Corsair 400C or the 275R? I love that the 400C has a latch for the side panel window and that it is easy to build in, but the panel is acrylic which I'm not a big fan of. On the other hand, the 275R is also easy to build in, but it has a tempered glass side panel and a more rigid frame. But the downside is that the mounting setup is terrible from what I've heard, and the accent lighting on the bottom front of the case only comes in white(not RGB! Ugh!) and the bulbs are a bit harsh. My system is a black and red schematic, so a bright white light at the front of my build would clash kinda hard. What are your guy's thoughts?
  10. it does but the gigabyte board is better for headphone support. they both have excellent dacs overall btw where are you planning on purchasing your mb from?
  11. the gigabyte does have great ethernet support and an awesome headphone dac
  12. I would say the Asus Crosshair VI Hero not only because I have the same CPU and also use the VI Hero, but because Asus has a great history when it comes to stable overclocking and they release UEFI BIOS updates more frequently when compared to most manufacturers. P.S. It also has RGB which is all anyone should care about nowadays!
  13. i forgot to mention that i also got the 1600X because it was on sale for the same price as the 1600 on amazon
