Instead of making assumptions like idiots, how about waiting for both sides of the story and the eventual confirmation/denial of the statements from both sides? Imediately assuming malice or making them guilty is just idiotic.

This literally just shows you didn't even read his comment or watched project farms video correctly. It has more changes than that, the ratchet mechanism is engineered by LTT as well so it's easier to do the ratcheting when screwing computer or other low force screws.

Oh, I wasn't dismissing the people here from watching the video, I just thought it was good to create discussion on it.

I personally thought it was an interesting and insightful video, and I think people who have been involved in this discussion would benefit from watching it, but the points discussed in his video largely relate to the same talking points which have already been debated in this topic for the past 8500+ comments; Billet labs, errors in LMG videos, and the ethics of Gamers Nexus's video. Would a separate topic on the video bring any new and distinct discussion or would it just be the same people rehashing the same thoughts and opinions from this thread?

I just signed up to tell LMG and the whole angry internet that GN Steve is no stranger to guerilla journalism. That is to sudden strike a big boy for maximum exposure to their advantage of gaining views and subs.

Want a latest example? Check their video coverage on Asus AM5 boards and vsoc settings. GN Steve went a full video and more guerilla about Asus not correcting the vsoc values. When IN FACT, GuerillaN Steve team measured the incorrect voltage points for vsoc. His videos are invalidated and he chose to sweep the story under the rug after maximised his subs and views.

The whole AM5 vsoc was done in bad faith by GuerillaN, they themselves admitted they needed to get the story out fast. They did little to verify and 'stole' the damaged CPU to send it to some analysis lab that came back with no conclusive results. It would be better if Amd and Asus got hold of the CPU and do failure analysis. But Guerilla Steve wanted his clickbaits, was it a surprised they also advertised their t-shirt and new channel during this saga?

Take a look at Asus low key clarification that Guerilla Steve chose to ignore.

I'm a very pro-union person. That being said, a union has to have a purpose, or it will go off the rails. Forming a union for the sake of doing so, isn't necessarily a bad thing, or even unnecessary, but it can be a waste of time and effort if there's no reason driving the organization. I will never find fault in a group of employees banding together to protect themselves from potential future mismanagement from their employer. I believe that's just as much a part of capitalism as a group of buyers choosing not to buy something.

I do believe a union at LMG may have helped minimize some of the "grindset" that led to the errors brought forth in the GN video. LMG may not have the stereotypical pay and benefits needs that unions tend to address in larger corporate worlds, but, it could be beneficial from a workplace perspective. And, maybe after the changes are implemented from this week of shutdown, it may not be needed for that, and Linus may be able to save himself from his self-imposed "failure" of his workers feeling they need a union. Then again, maybe the long-term solution is unionizing LMG to avoid future over-working situations. The IAFF (International Association of Fire Fighters) is notorious for implementing safety and cancer reduction efforts that make the job safer for it's members, but also for implementing and supporting the development of better tactics that have made firefighters better at doing their job in the first place. Unions can be beneficial, not just to the employees, but to the organization as a whole as well.

Lastly, contributing to the Madison situation. High-stress jobs tend to breed crude humor. Whether that stress is by the nature of the job, or is self-imposed by management or deadlines, the higher the stress, the more likely the people doing the job will lean on crude humor to adapt. I've seen this first hand, and subsequently had to attend mandatory sexual harassment awareness training because an honest joke, crossed a line from one of our coworkers to another. I'm honestly hoping that is all her situation was, while still not good, I'd be more understanding if that is what it was. If it was as much as she describes, then someone is probably going to have to go, and everyone else is going to see some sexual harassment training in their future.

if you rewatch the video, it's the oposite, he starts by explaining what prompted his dumb emotional response on the forum, he tried to minimize the complaint from Billet Labs saying "it only took 2 business days and Colton tried to do it(and failed miserably) on the 10th, way before any of this blew up" and THEN he starts by admitting he's getting emotional again, stops and apologizes for both the dumb response, for allowing the internet rage to cloud his judgement and emotions  and essentially stopping him from accepting any fair criticism from GN and for not re-reviewing the monoblock again. Also he proceeds to explain what he will be doing during the week they'll be off.

I feel like people, when watching the video, get so mad as soon as Linus shows up that they don't even hear him or as soon as they hear any of the stupid jokes.

Also, Steve hasn't said or released anything else since LMG essentially showed they made a simple mistake. He hasn't even acknowledged that what he spread initially as "LMG STOLE AND GHOSTED BILLET LABS AND THEN LIED ABOUT IT" wasn't fully the case at all. His silence on all of this is very weird.

It's profiting off of drama though, which they "said that's not the intention". But keep defending them.

Also, the likelihood that the new viewers were viewers from the first video makes it so that NOW they're profiting off of them. But keep saying how one is an angel and the other is hell's spawn.
