  1. I totally agree with this, but I got talked into getting one and it its fast AF BOIIIIIII.
  2. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817153310 Thank You! this helps a lot.
  3. GlassWire is a great firewall application for Windows that does a lot more than just block incoming connections. It’s also really amazing for monitoring your bandwidth usage.
  4. in my build I plan on putting in an ROG STRIX 1080, but the PCI-e cords that came with my PSU are ugly. I was planing on just using one of my friends PCI-e cords but we realized that the way the pins were shaped made it so it could not fit in my PSU. I think that the PCI-e cord was from his EVGA PSU. I wanted to know if i ordered a PCI-e cord from cable mods, would I be able to make it so that it fits my PSU?
  5. nope I have no clue what im doing, but thanks for pointing it out.
  6. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/L2F7xY i switched the case for an extra $1 so you can have USB ports on the front
  7. try this ( i would recommend covering the window to hide the sad lump of stuff in it.) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DhDP4C
  8. Check to see if your 12V rail is fluctuating. if so it might be your PSU.
  9. So as of 2 days ago, I built my first PC and the parts that I got were good for the price and probably the best I could have done at the time. Anyway I managed to snag an ASUS STRIX Z270E for only $120, I love the amazing lighting and I even have an ROG STRIX 1080 in the mail right now, but I only have one complaint..... my cooler is soooooooooo ugly. It is a cooler master 212 evo, which work very well, and keeps my CPU cool, but its so FREAKING UGLY I need to switch it out for something. So I was originally going to get the NZXT Kraken because its just a nice cooler all around and it has RGB, but it wont sync with the aurora lighting system and i'm way too lazy to switch both of them if I want them to match. Long story short I need a water cooler that is RGB and can sync with my aurora lighting system.
