  1. Hi guys! Im looking for a laptop for studying, light gaming and light content creation since my old HP Elitebook gave up on me (it was getting pretty dated anyway as it weighs 6 Pounds, has 1 hour of battery life and is as loud as a jet taking off) I will need a laptop for: 500 or less i5 or better (an i3 is also ok assuming its 11th gen) and Ryzen 5 8GB ram 256GB Storage, and preferably NVMe 4-5 Hour minimum battery 15.6in 1080p Screen with decent colors Im interested in playing some Valorant and Minecraft once in a while, but I think most iGPUs can handle those games. If you guys got anything feel free to link it Also I did actually find a laptop that did meet all of these specs, the HP 15-dy something, but the trackpad had an issue where it was getting stuck, the speakers were so tinny, and the screen which was so dim and so washed out that my old laptop screen looked way better. I would not prefer this laptop, and if you do find it I would steer clear from it.
  2. any of those will work, really anything for 900p gaming will be fine
  3. Hi LTT community A while ago my brother got a dell optiplex 9020 tower since he needed a new pc he wants to play some pc games and got $60 for his birthday a few days ago are there any new or used cards for under $60 on ebay, amazon, etc with the best possible performance, and that dont require any extra 6 or 8 pin power connectors? Thanks!
  4. might be because of the XMP RAM overclocking Take out the motherboard battery (to remove settings) and turn off XMP temporarily to see if that fixes
  5. I just tried clean installing and I still get the 5-8% usage no matter what
  6. Nope, if you search gtx 1050 vs gtx 970, the 970 will win since it was designed for high end gaming back in 2015, and the gtx 1050 was designed for budget gaming in 2016
  7. There are a lot of mini 1650 models (it was pretty much designed for upgrading any system possible) so its up to you depending which one you like. Again as long as you dont go for any 1650 with a heavy OC and fits your case, you should be fine. I also wouldn't recommend manually OC'ing just to keep power draw low
  8. Ive noticed that in Task manager, the AMD Radeon driver is taking anywhere from 5-8% gpu usage This has only been happening with the new 2020 drivers and is annoying me a lot any way to fix this
  9. Theres no mention of any 80+ certification but I guess the fact that the 9900k is bios limited that will ensure it wont blow up
  10. I know delta is a good PSU maker, but im not sure if they are using Delta in the PC I guess if Dell is really using a high quality power supply they could get away with it until someone decides to OC their 2080
  11. That would only be for those two components, after adding a motherboard, the 64gb of ram, hard drives, etc It would come very close to the 460w listed
  12. Get a graphics card for $450 (RTX 2070/2070S) and new RAM (get 2 4GB to add to your current 2 sticks) for $50
  13. you probably should be ok as long as you don't go for any large beefy cards https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1475702-REG/zotac_zt_t16500f_10l_geforce_gtx_1650_oc.html/?ap=y&ap=y&smp=y&smp=y&lsft=BI%3A514&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7aPyBRChARIsAJfWCgL1w5f07xm3lDQYtEt4tRQfO3zCORWOn4VW74Ax96OzUgV-rWuSiGwaAlFJEALw_wcB This card from Zotac should work, and should fit most systems
  14. Ive been browsing through a review of the Dell G5 while window shopping, and when I was reading through one review site, they said that their highest config G5 system only has a 460W power supply I went to dells website to really see if this was true, and it was How is Dell insuring that these things wont blow up under load with such a small power supply
