  1. hey @aDoomGuy, I went and tried your suggestion, yet it reported no errors. im gonna wipe my drive and install a fresh copy of windows tomorrow and hope for the best
  2. I havent been running it oc'd for the past months, but unfortunately the problem was/is there regardless of the oc I am confident that oc and stock has the same problems, too
  3. Hey @GDRRiley, I ran Aida64 for about 30 minutes at 3.2 (stock), and the max temps were 49 Cpu, and 57 Mobo. I can't really see a problem with the temps, as far as the test's result is concerned.
  4. I think It hit about 80-ish at 3.8/1.35v, but I havent really stress tested it at stock. ill run a stress test and let you know.
  5. I was thinking about a new install, since it did fix a few problems I had about a year ago Thanks for the suggestion
  6. Hey @GDRRiley , Thanks for the reply I'm confident that its not a thermal issue as it idles around the high 30's And yes, I was thinking of getting faster ram, do you have any recommendations for budget-midrange?
  7. Hello ppl Ive been experiencing some weird stuttering and a general slowness in my pc, and can't figure out why The lag started when I took out my wraith spire and replaced it with a silverstone aio, about two months ago. Before the AIO, the pc was able to pull 150+ frames in league but now stutters quite regularly and dips into two digits sometimes. Cities Skylines was able to do 45-ish frames when zoomed in quite close, but now has stuttering issues all around and dips as low as 20-30 I have some clues as to why this is happening, but really need your help figuring it out. I was suspecting that it was either the ram being too slow, or just windows being a pain in the ass. (not a thermal issue, as it oc'd just fine, stock settings rn though) The lagging is pretty intense sometimes and has been getting on my nerves. Hope yall can help me figure this out, thanks in advance! [Specs] CPU- R5 1600 @ stock everything RAM- Geil 2133/8g sticks, x2 MOBO- Gigabyte AB350N-WiFi (itx) GPU- ZOTAC Mini 970 (its pretty old, lag could be the chip dying) AIO- Low end Silverstone AIO Storage- 960 EVO 512gb (Boot & Games) 1TB WD Blue (Photos and Movies and stuff) Case- NZXT Manta W/ 3 stock fans, and 2 Silverstone AIO fans PSU- Superflower 500W 80Plus sliver
  8. that means that you pushed your chip a little too far with the overclocking as @App4that said, you gotta turn down the clocks or throw more volts into it, but the latter is not really recommended
  9. 1600 is a good option, especially if you buy used
  10. This is all I can see. no scrolling down, it seems
  11. I think youre right. AOMEI's test is telling me that every sector is bad. Time for a new drive I guess
