  1. I then clicked on manage audio devices and I go to input devices and see a microphone input pegged at 100%. When I swap to said microphone in discord or the windows settings it just plays static.
  2. Could you elaborate on "messed with"? I went into the control panel and was looking at controls and nothing was related to my issue
  3. So I recently had to do a fresh install of windows on my desktop because it was freezing. I updated all drivers under the device manager, checked the motherboard website for up to date drivers, and have been troubleshooting the mic for about an hour. I haven't messed with any internals on the pc, and the case mic jack worked before I installed new windows however once installed I can only get the mic by plugging it into the motherboard. Does anybody have any idea why this would happen? Specs: Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming RAM- 4x8 GB GSkill Trident Z CPU- Ryzen 3700X 4.2 Ghz OC GPU- Asus ROG Strix 2080TI PSU- Thermaltake 1050W RGB Storage- 2x 2TB M.2 drives, 1x 4TB WD blue SSD Case- Phanteks Eclipse P400A Headphones- Astro A10 headset with splitter cable
  4. Recently my computer wouldn't charge, changed cord and it would charge but when it loaded into games it caps at 30 fps in all games, and the textures wouldn't load no matter the quality settings. Can y'all help?
  5. I recently built a ryzen 2600 pc with 8gb viper 3000mhz ram in a MSI B450i gaming plus mobo. It worked when first put together and its what I've used till now. But I'm trying to install a 16gb kit of vengeance lpx 3000mhz and it won't post. I cleared out the bios before I started, I tried one stick in slot one, nothing, one stick in slot 2, nothing, alternated the sticks and repeated action, nothing. The cpu light will be the only one to come on, it stays on then tries to reboot. I swapped back in the old kit and it works again. I checked and MSI says the kit is supported. What could be the issue and why isn't it working?
  6. No clue, gonna put everything back together and see if it works
  7. Before you said that I unplugged everything but mobo/cpu, and gpu and it booted into the bios
  8. I've heard coil whine, this aint it
  9. Checked all cables, they are plugged in. Could something be doa?
  10. Ryzen 2600, b450i mobo, rx 580, 250gb ssd, viper ddr4-3000mhz, photon 550 psu. I have not tried that yet.
  11. I just had built a pc. I got everything put where it needs to go, plugged in necessary cables for the motherboard, graphics card and ssd. Plugged it into the wall to power it on and it does an electronic buzz then does nothing. What did I do wrong, or is the psu dead? it only makes the buzz whenever the power button is hit, don't know it that matters
