  1. I just wanted to show you a site called kinguin where you can get windows and games for cheap
  2. Is there any real noticeable difference in sound quality between the three?
  3. Seems pretty good to me, i'm not familiar with the i7-8700k, but I think everything looks fine
  4. I'm building a desk for my first PC build, and I want to build speakers into the desk. I'm not an audiophile, I prefer a much more balanced sound; and my budget is from $40 to $100. So does anyone have any good recommendations for speakers like that? Thanks!
  5. It depends what you're looking for and what your going to use it for. Can you be more specific? This website might help: http://www.logicalincrements.com/
  6. I'm planning a build and the Cryorig H5 Ultimate cooler I have picked out will interfere with my RAM; so can I point it in a different direction, and if so what's the best way to have it pointing? My Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mwCjd6 Thanks!
  7. Thanks for all the replies but I fixed it by changing the channel it was on I now get around 24 Mbps for download and 2 Mbps for uploading.
  8. I have ran multiple speed tests on my computer and all of them have said that my connection is very fast; but randomly throughout the day my modem will simply stop working, and cuts everything off from the internet. I also get a ridiculously slow connection, especially while playing games like CS:GO; where in I have a average ping of about 300 and get almost unplayable speeds. Is it possible that my modem is holding me back from getting the speeds that I should be getting? My modem is only 2 years old, and I'm not sure if it's just cheaply made or if something else is happening. If anyone has any ideas as to what's happening I would appreciate it. Thanks!
  9. I'm on a budget and can't afford to get a very high-end monitor, so if I'm running a game at more than 60FPS on a 60hz monitor will it still look fine? Or should I get a better monitor? Also if you have any recommendations for a good monitor under or at $200 it would be appreciated.
  10. I'm building my first PC and am in need of a good monitor. Can anyone recommend me anything under $200? Thanks! - Brett
  11. The monitor I have picked out is only 60hz so if I'm playing above 60 FPS will I even be able to see it?
  12. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7b2XRG What do you think?
  13. I'm currently planning a build, and am now at the point where I need to figure out how to make my build a little cheaper. So far I've downgraded my mobo and my case, now I'm on to the GPU; and I need to choose between two cards: the GTX 1050 ti, and the GTX 1060 3GB. So my main question is: is the performance difference enough where it's worth going the extra mile? The main purpose of my build is gaming and I want to play GTA V, CS:GO, and Overwatch at 60 FPS or higher. I'm definitely not going to be play at 4K on an ultrawide monitor, or playing VR games, just some light to medium gaming. So is the 1050 ti enough for that? Also I'm open to suggestions, just keep in mind my case has a glass panel, so aesthetics are important. So don't judge my $50 CPU cooler and RGB lit motherboard, but if you have any other good-looking alternatives I would appreciate hearing about them. If you give me a link to a new build please keep the processor the same, I don't want a AMD CPU due to the fact that future games most likely aren't going to be optimized for the platform. Thanks! - Brett Here's my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ynv9M8 I do have an SSD and peripherals picked out already these are just the bare bones.
