  1. Update: I did already have the node plugged into a usb header, and i even tried moving it to a different one and it still does not work
  2. You know, I don’t remember seeing one, so that probably means that’s the problem . I get off around 7 PM CST and I’ll do some searching and update! Thank you!
  3. I think I know what you’re talking about, choosing a different series of fans just causes the one fan that’s lighting up to turn off. And the node was plugged into the sata power cable
  4. Yes. At least I believe so. Im using the node that came with the case. The node is also recognized in iCue.
  5. UPDATE: I tried everything I could, so in a last desperate attempt at troubleshooting I called Corsair. Told them everything that was wrong, and they said the node was most likely just broken on arrival, so they are going to just send me one So I’m in a bit of a predicament. Started to rebuild my computer yesterday (finally switched to ddr4), so I bought a new case to cement the upgrade. I bought the Corsair iCue 4000x RGB case. I install everything normally, even having a friend of mine check my work since it’s been so long since I had done any pc work. The pc boots fine (though it will only CSM boot, it wont go past bios if i try to UEFI boot). The fans wont light up, but they are spinning. One fan will only light up white, and cannot be controlled from the latest iCue software. Here is some of the troubleshooting I have done. I checked for updates on the node and it was up to date. They are plugged in correctly in ports 1-3. Port 1 seems to be the only one that works. Port 1 will make one fan glow white, but not controllable in iCue Port 2 worked for about a minute, glowed yellow/blue but still not controllable in iCue Port 3 has never worked. I have it set to the correct series of fans in iCue My Corsair Vengeance Pro rgb ram works perfectly fine
  6. UPDATE: My CPU fan header wasn’t plugged in. I’m an idiot.
  7. I’ve also noticed that if i havent started it up in a bit, it will make it all the way to the desktop, then shut off. If i try to turn it back on right after, it makes it maybe 5 seconds, then shuts right back off. Sort of a refractionary period I guess.
  8. It still shuts off even after unplugging.
  9. Correct. It’s as if I flipped the switch on the back of the PSU. It just shuts off.
  10. It was freezing before hand, due to a standoff shorting the Mobo out. I removed that one, and moved it where it was actually needed.
  11. I bought it less than a year ago, so no I don’t believe so.
  12. So I just rebuilt my pc last night (needed to remount the radiator and add another standoff underneath the motherboard) I just booted up this morning, and it posted. It then went to windows logo, and shut off. No blue screen or error code, just shut off. I tried turning it on again, and it didn’t even make it to post. I’ve tried it a couple more times, and sometimes it makes it all the way to me opening up Chrome or trying to start up discord, but then does the same thing: shuts off. I opened up my pc and replugged in all the power button wires and such, it did the same thing. Any advice? 13. So quick question. I realized about two seconds ago I didn’t remove the extra standoffs in my PC case before installing my mobo. My computer has been freezing at random points since. Could this be the problem?
