  1. Is there possibly a cheaper alternative, like a usb hub over lan?
  2. So I want to buy a pc that, using unraid, will run a linux distro, let's call it x, and Windows at the same time. So I'll configure x once and then leave it at that. So now I have a problem. I want the pc to be in the attic about 10 meters away from the room. In the room I have a display, keyboard and a mouse which I want to connect to the computer (not by usb of course). So does a thing like an I/O hub over LAN or something similar exist. I only need usb, hdmi and audio throughput so what kind of device should do the trick?
  3. So I have an HP Envy DV6 laptop with an intel i7 3630QM and an nVidia GT630M graphics card. Up until now I've been able to play games properly, but now, warframe runs at 7FPS, Roblox can't be maxed out etd. I've been searching to the reason why and it turns out that my idle cpu temps are around 89C, and GPU, when It's not doing anything so everything is running of of the intel integrated one, 72C Is this normal and what should I do, reapply the thermal compound or what?
  4. 1. You're literally saying that the joke missed me, not I the joke 2. I know you knew that, like, just getting to this website, getting on youtube without seeing any lie-ads is impossible
  5. No, not just that, it's a rule, for capitalism to exist, this rule holds true For every rich person there has to be 2+ poor people, and if you look at it, it's true The wealth of one person indirectly affects the wealth of another *Keep in mind that wealth, just like weight, is just a measuring thingy. e.g: If your "wealth" is low, you're poor
  6. It's further separating the rich from the poor, therefore lowering the middle class in number
  7. They are nothing, a buck is a piece of paper which, with each adding member, pushes down the value of the dollar
  8. It may be air, but it's literally just as valuable as real cash
  9. Yeah, but what I don't understand is how bitcoin price goes up after nicehash was hacked
  10. People make it out to be something new, something we're inexperienced at, but it's not. CC (cryptocurrency) prices are nothing new, we've seen them before. I personally, 15 years ago bought a 20th floor apartment at half the price of a smaller one on the 3rd floor. Yeah, sold it for 3 frickin' times as much as I had originally bought it for. The point is: Bitcoin prices aren't anything new, they're just the same ole' market values, as steam said, volatile, insecure (compared to a bank) money that probably won't last too long
  11. So, bitcoin is at an all time high, and it seems, well, unreal. I, you (probably), and everyone else almost certainly know that it will crash. So when do you think it will and how low? A few days ago it fell down to 15-16k, and now it's ~19.5k Essentialy, what bitcoin is doing, just like everything else money related, is further separating the rich from the poor, therefore removing the middle class So what does this mean? Well, if I was asked to describe bitcoin and everything related to it in one word, that word would be EXTREME. It is extreme and here's why: Bitcoin is separating the two extremes; It can mean either the death or rebirth of capitalism, again, two extremes Bitcoin in itself is difference, it's entropy to the ground below us
