    I managed to get a brand new AMD FX water cooler on kijiji for 50$. It's basically a rebranded Antec Kuhler 920 (120mm thick rad) Now I just need to wait for a sale on a ref. design R9 290...guess I'll have to wait after xmas.

    By that he meant that DirectCanada and NCIX are actually the same company. I realized this when I built my Q6600 rig 6 years ago. I had bought my whole system from NCIX except from one component off DirectCanada and the same guy had signed the packing slips. IIRC NCIX, DirectCanada, Bestdirect Compu2000, NXSource and MemoryHouse are all owned by the same parent company. I've ordered off most of them without any issues.
