  1. Hello everyone. So 3 months ago i decided to upgrade my cpu from ryzen 5 1600 to ryzen 5 5600 and my gpu from gtx 1060 to rx 6600. It was kind of a cheap upgrade for a 5yr old system that made sense to me. Everything went smoothly, FPS skyrocketed in game, however i always had an issue. Micro stutters. Before the upgrade ive never experienced this annoying problem and i just cant explain whats going on. I even reinstalled windows 10 and then upgraded to windows 11 and still persists. I have them even when i watch netflix. Nothing is overclocked and i have 20gb of ram. Also worth mentioning that i have 2 slow 60hz monitors. Even when i disable one of them, the micro stutters are still there. PLEASE help me
  2. Hello. So i was bored and pressed on eyefinity on my gpu's software (adrenaline) and now i cannot turn it off. I basically made my dual monitor become one extended monitor which i really dont want. It only reverts when i unplug my second monitor but it activates again when i plug it in. I tried every single topic for this and i cant disable it. There is a button in the adrenaline window to discard the eyefinity preset but i have pressed it like 50 times and it doesnt revert it. Please help
  3. im also experiencing weird stuff while alt tabbing. Random bits of valorant appears on my screen. As you can see in the screenshot im right now fully alt tabbed out of the game and that happens.
  4. Hello! So i just bought the rx6600 for black friday as an upgrade from my gtxx 1060. Its paired with a ryzen 1600 and 16gb of ram. Installed the card and its drivers and fired up valorant. I can definitely see a good improvement in fps, however the screen tears and lags when i do sudden movements like turn 180 degrees, there is a split second of lag which i didnt have with the old card. Could this be a bottleneck issue?
  5. So the correct course of action would be to have the old cpu in when updating the bios then switch to the new cpu. or simply boot the bios with the new cpu in and then flash the bios?
  6. Hello. I currently have the ryzen 5 1600 which ive been using for 5 years. Overclocked it a bit and its still doing fine gaming in low-medium settings. i was looking at the ryzen 5 5600 and im curious if it will work with my old asrock ab350 pro4, obviously with flashing the bios. I wouldnt change anything else besides the processor and maybe the graphics card as i currently have the gtx 1060 6gb to a rx6600. Is it a good idea?
  7. Hello! I have both USB 3.1 and 3.0 ports on my motherboard (Asrock AB350 Pro4) but those are not working. When i try to copy photos from my camera, both of them work for around 30s and then completely stutter. I have installed and reinstalled all the drivers but they are still not functioning. I know that I'm missing something here, but i can't figure it out. On a side note, the USB 2.0's work without a problem, but still too slow for a camera. Thank you! P.S. The camera came with a 3.1 usb connecter
  8. It is new and it has the sticker on it, though it might refer to the raven ridge only
  9. Hello! I am doing a build for my friend. And I know that in April, there was a compatibility issue with Ryzen 5 2600 and a 350 mobo due to the lack of bios update. What I am curious of is whether or not these past months were enough for them to upgrade the mobo. Please don’t tell me to get another mobo or another processor, remain on the topic.
  10. drivers are up to date. I'll do that, thanks!
  11. So, i am a photographer and recently bought a D810 which comes with a 3.0 usb for faster photo importing. However, as soon as it gets to 2% it stopps and i get an error asking me to restart file explorer. Please note that ive used the 3.0 port before and its the only one i have on my motherboard. The D810 has around 36 MP, do you realize how much time i have to wait for it to import on a random 2.0 usb port?
  12. I did but in the midst of despair didnt look at it :(.
  13. Hello guys! Umm, i just got my first bsod since building my PC, it was a system thread exception not handled error. I am lost when it comes to software and i just wanted to know if i should worry. My pc specs are: Ryzen 5 1600 oc 3.8, gtx 1060 6gb, 16 gb ram 3000mhz, asrock ab350 pro4 mobo, 200gb SSD (for windows), 1tb HDD and an EVGA power supply.
  14. dude, i had that problem i kinda still have it but its getting to 100% only sometimes and not more than one second. What i did for fixing this: disabled superfetch, windows update, windows search, bits and another thing that i dont remember. Also changed from balanced to performance mode and changed the sata cable. This is a common issue in windows 10 using a Hard Disk as i do but my SSD should be arriving by the next week, so i recommend switching to Windows 7, as windows 10 is literally sh.it!
  15. Why in the world would you buy the fx 8350 when coffee lake and ryzen are HERE???
  16. driver issues? perform a clean install of it
  17. power on the mobo by putting a screwdriver between the two pins necessary for boot up. If that doesnt work that means ur mobo is dead.
  18. just try it, you can anyway put them back togheter real quick.
  19. plug out every single cable you have on ur motherboard BESIDES THE ONE YOU REALLY NEED, like usb ports and power on cable. Probably ur LED Power on is damaged or something, i had the same symptoms with my brand new case
  20. on the lowest possible settings, you might get 30fps, really bad optimized game, my GTX 1060 6gb cant run it at ultra, i have a mix of ultra and medium settings, with of course msaa disabled.
  21. well my windows 10 pro is eating 2.7gb of ram, its not that big of a deal since i have 16gb but still..
