  1. 2023-10-14 18-51-05.mkvCan anyone please help us with this, I have an issue where my 900mbps download and 100mbps upload internet connection slows down to roughly 200mbps download and 10mbps upload on this PC every time I boot up on this OS, if I boot up on a Lunix via a USB, it is fine. so it is purely a software issue but it is affecting my network connection. I can fix it by changing one of the advanced settings in the Network connection, as you can see in the video, changing the speed and duplex fro mAuto to 1Gbps fixes it, but then on reboot i then need to change it back fro m1Gbps to Auto. So it is getting annoying. As i say, you can see the issue in the attached video I have uploaded, on the right is a speedtest from speedtest.net and on the left is the settings. and I have tried it with a USB to ethernet and onboard connection, both have the same issue and through a VPN, and that has the same issue as my pure ISP. Does anyone know what settings in Windows can be causing this, and I have what a full virus scan and malware scan, and they are showing nothing.
  2. yeah, everything which i have seen on the internet to change. the speed is set to 1Gbps full duplex and all the other setting as I say, I have been on a few websites regarding this changed the settings to what they have advised and it hasn't resolved this
  3. The situation is, I have 1 PC, which I have Windows 11 installed twice on two different Hard drives as a dual boot system, Ryzen 7 3800XT, 32GB 3600Mhz Ram and a RTX3090. so as decent system, along with a 900Mbps internet connection. on the main everyday boot, my internet speed is restricted, to roughly a 1/3 for the download speed and 1/10 for the upload, as seen in the attached image on the second Windows installation, which I have set up as a video editing system as I do that as a freelance, I get the full ram, a 950mbps download and a 110Mbps, all day every day. so it isn't a hardware issue as I have using the same physical PC, it is purely software, and with that issue, if I unplug the network cable from the internet router, leave it for 30 seconds then plug it back into a different port, the upload speed increases for a while to 100Mbps but the download doesn't I have ran Malwarebytes. I have Bitdefender on my system, and I have tried booting up Windows with no additional software that I can think off via MSconfig and I still get this issue. Any help would be great.
  4. Is anyone else having this issue, Facebook is restricting my account, but when i go into my account settings they are not stating why nor are they giving me the normal option to go agasint it. as shown in these three images.
  5. Well it seems like putting the game into window boarder less mode as seemed to have fixed this issue for me. Been playing the game now for 3 hours with everything in ultra at 4k and hasn't crashed once. If anyone can shine a light in why a full screen mode would make a PC crash but a window boarder less mode wouldn't then please do.
  6. tried reinstalling the game and verifying the game files, still no joy, and yes, I have played the game for 8 to 9 hours through the first village, and it is at thise scene where my PC keeps cutting out
  7. Yeah, I have googled this and seen many posts and videos about this, none of which have worked. I have an Asus Crosshair VI Hero Motherboard Ryzen 7 1700 tried it both stock speed at 3 GHz and overclocked at 3.7Ghz 16GB of Ram at 2400Mhz 2 GTX1080ti in SLI 850Watt PSU I have tried the GPU's underclocked by 20 Mhz and the Video Ram Underclocked by 100Mhz I have tried the system as I say with the CPU overclocked at 3.7Ghz and at the stock 3Ghz The Bios at optimal default settings and nothing is working. What is happening I have been able to play the first 8 to 9 hours of the game, Meet up with Yen and went off with her when the Wild Hunt chase us down, got to where Gerald is being groomed and my PC keeps shutting down, just a complete power outage I am able to play All the Assassins Creeds games at 4K resolution and Red Dead Redemption at 4K through Vulkan in SLI, Blender processing on Both GPU's and Folding@Home on both GPU's and my CPU no issues what so ever, many people ahve said it is a PSU problem, but if Folding@home and Blender can run for hours on my PC without it cutting out I can't see how this can be. The Witcher 3 just keeps shutting my PC down. I have run 3DMark on DX12 at 4K runs fine and Heaven for 20 minutes. no overheating issues. Just from one second to the other, no BSOD, no Sounds, nothing. My Screen just goes off and then I need to boot up my PC again I have reinstalled the GPU Drivers. I have reinstalled the Motherboard Drivers. the only information I have is by going into the Event Viewer in Windows 10 this is what I can find at the time it is shutting down The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user DESKTOP-JEESTVV\jjtho SID (S-1-5-21-3694686107-1848145489-1711999509-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool. At that time I had Asus GPU Tweek OSD up and my GPU's where at 61 Degree's C and the GPU was at 49 Degree's C so it isn't a heating issue and as I say I have tried stress testing my PC out and it has lasted with no issues so the PSU is fine Anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? 8. A friend of mine informed me that he got a notification on Facebook, clicked on it then got a series of questions about me. The screen shots are attached to the post. Has anyone ever seen this before? And what causes it Any help would be appreciated
  9. I am working for a company in the UK and a number of our client's emails are being blocked by our customer's email accounts spam filters, looking at a number of websites for advice on Spam emails, what we are doing should not trigger the spam filters. What I want to know is, can it be our email service provider that is causing the customer's email provider to block our emails? So if we switch from who we are with at the moment to say Google will this fix the issue? Or will we still have the same problem?
  10. I do, I subscribe to Netflix, NowTV, Amazon Prime and the WWE network, the issue here is Gotham isn't on anywhere in the UK till the end of this year at least. If any of these services had the program then I wouldn't be Torrenting it! It is one program out of many that I watch which I can't get here in the UK "Gotham season four started airing on Channel 4’s sister channel E4 in April 2018, over half a year after the show had its US premiere in September 2017. E4 has confirmed to Express.co.uk that it will be broadcasting Gotham season five for British fans but there’s no UK release date as yet." so we are at least a year behind the rest of the world.
  11. Yeah, I have PIA loading up with the system, I have turned on Kill Switch just before I posted this. I was just wondering if they have gone more slack on their data protection.
  12. ok cheers, I will look at my settings on PIA, and look at NordVPN as well.
  13. Right I will look into it, honestly, I have used this set up for years and this is the first time anything like this has happened. I will look at the new PIA software as it is the new version of it.
  14. the case is here, Linus himself has said that through PIA they shouldn't detect any torrenting
