  2. seems so, but not impossible. It's hard to find compatible MOBO for AMD hack, I'm relying on successful builds post from other forums.

Do Coffee Lake have Desktop CPUs?, I thought their last press release only mentioned low power Ultrabook CPU Good to know, I'm assuming core counts will be better for the future over Clock speed Ill keep that in mind. Plus, I rely on AMD OSX for Hackintosh support, I'm here for first-hand expert opinion and suggestions like yours for the best value.
