  1. After the very kind and appreciated advice from people yesterday at r/pcmr about Linux, I decided to install Ubuntu on my laptop from a USB drive that I (I think this is what its called) "formatted" using the usb-multiboot tool from pendrivelinux. I had a bit of trouble installing but sorted it out by turning safe and fast boot off. I also switched bios to UEFI and CBM. It boots, I installed it and restarted the PC. Afterwards it took me to a screen where it it had me choose between "windows directory" and the default HDD. When I choose the HDD it takes me to a black screen and it says: ubuntu file /boot/grub/i386-pc/gettext.mod not found Do any of you have any fixes for this? I don't know really anything about Linux and don't have any clue what to do
  2. About how many frames do you think I'll gain with an i5?
  3. Hi, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong category or breaks any rules, I'm new here. I'm going to get a 1070 and a g4560, and I want to know, will my CPU bottleneck my 1070 too much to run games such as Bf1 and PUBG at high settings 1080p? Should I consider waiting a bit longer and getting an i5 for a smooth 1080p experience. Thank you and I apologise again for any mistakes and/or violations of the rules.
