  1. Ooh right, yeah I did that but didn't appear to change anything when I clicked load defaults in the uefi
  2. Everything is built on the board apart from my gpu (strix 1050) temp all seems fine to me after having machine on yesterday before work bios reported 40c for cpu and 30c for mobo. As far as I can tell there's no difference between it working and not apart from just that it either works or it doesn't. Same single beep it's always had. I haven't tried reseting bios completely not yet as I'm waiting on a borrowed thumb drive to host the new bios on. Paranoid though because I read that it can go south fast if you mess with flashing the bios. I need to stay off the Internet sometimes
  3. Hi guys, 1st time poster. Recently my 1 year old pc''s hdd turned into a brick so it was replaced with a WD Blue 1tb. It's my only drive. Drive seems to work fine when pc boots (eventually) problem is getting past post. Usually have to manually slept the drive to boot from but...BUT.. I'm having issues now where I can't open the UEFI or Boot options and it hangs on the manufacures splash screen (where it says press f2 etc) can't open the UEFI or boot menu and when I try it freezes on that screen and I have to restart. When it does work though it won't boot straight to OS despite setting the drive as primary boot option it just wants to boot from ipv4 and I need to manually select the drive. I keep seeing people say I need to update/flash the bios but according to UEFI when it loads, I'm using the latest that ASUS have to download on their site no idea what this is and it's upsetting me. Tried swapping sata ports and cables to no avail. Any help would be loved. Sorry for ranting
