Flawizz got a reaction from dfsgsfa in 30 series founders edition
i just realised that the founder edition might not be a good choice with a big cpu heatsink like for example in my case : ) scythe mugen 5, i have no clue if im gonna have issues with thermals on my cpu because of the fan on the back blowing hot air into cpu heatsink, i have a 3700x always on 4,25 ghz with fan on scythe mugen spinning on max rpm all the time, 3 front fans and mesh panel from nr600 coolermaster, am i gonna have some serious cpu cooling issues with 30 series fe card?anyone have any clue?

Build quality, mostly. That and Corsair has a 7 year warranty vs 5 year from Be Quiet!. Also the TXM has better performance according to Aris

Flawizz reacted to Master Disaster in local ip adress and port forward
Its generally a sign that Windows has lost connection to the DHCP server and when it tried to renew the IP it got no response or it can indicate theres a software issue with the network stack.
Either way it fixed itself so your good.

Hi,
I used a jumper cab to fix issue I had. Alhumdulillah. I had issue where monitor wouldn't sync , keyboard and mouse wouldn't power on when booting. All EZ bug leds on MSI board were off. I powered off, took power cable out and pressed power button to ensure entirely drained. Used a jumper cap and pressed gently down on the right 2 pins could feel the cap go down. Left it between 5-10 seconds. Took it out and powered on and he leds stayed flashing as if checking each component and it went into BIOS CMOS boot mode. F1 then to startup. I hope that helps someone. MSI boards have 4 pins that through me off too but it's right pins. Side note the black cable to right of screwdriver looks loose a bit could just be perception.

Flawizz got a reaction from Mathieu9836 in Cpu led
Alright. I booted with the 3700x on previous bios version. Started with cpu led. So i gave up on life. Laid back on my bed. Monitor turned on. I shot myself out of bed. No cpu led lighting up. I guess the redditposr was right. Thanks to everyone that tried to help me. Much appreciated. ❤️

Flawizz reacted to Skiiwee29 in Bios update version
Both of those should support Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. If you need to do a BIOS update, I would personally go for the very newest as it will have the previous stuff and new stuff and/or fixes implemented.

Generally, only incremental changes are listed, so the newer version supports everything an older version does.

Flawizz reacted to Dedayog in VPN deal
Recurring means it will automatically renew and charge you $69.95. And every year after that. Unless you cancel, of course. Some plans will just end after a year, but recurring means it'll renew.
Recurring just means happening again.
Never used expressvpn, sorry.

Flawizz reacted to Dioneyesos in New Build Help (sort of)
I agree with the i7-9700k and if you notice that you need more ram you can always upgrade at a later point in time, buying a second cpu because the first one isn't cutting it would be very expensive if you ask me. One other suggestion, use a NVMe SSD instead of a SATA SSD if you're spending this kind of money on a build. Improvement is definitely noticeable and I would recommend everyone who has the option to get one (or 2 in raid 0).
