  1. So just looking for opinions / advice really. I really like the look of the Razerbook 13, with its slim, flush bezels and metal build. Im just wondering if anyone has any experience using it and how it is? Also if there are any similar laptops for a similar price, ideally 13-14" that have the same flush bezels and 16GB of RAM. Thanks! Note: I'll be using it for computer science and my university work (essays).
  2. I'm looking for a gaming/office chair for around £150 ($180). This is the market where the more well known brands are too expensive so I'm not sure which chair I should go for; I'd like the chair to have back and head support, as well as not being too 'gamery' if you get my drift. (Anything like a GT Omega is ok though!) Thanks!
  3. I currently have a Macbook Pro 2018 15" (i7 8750H). I'm wondering if it'd be a better option to sell the Macbook and buy a LG Gram or something similar instead? I'm taking computer science at university next year and I feel that maybe a windows machine might be a better option. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!
  4. I did try one of these, but my issue is with the microphone not the playbck. These isolators can't transmit the microphone signal so I get no microphone output out of them if I use it.
  5. Hey my G1 arrived today and I'm sorry to say that the problem still persists ? I'm pretty sure now it's a headphone fault, like you said, thanks for your help none the less though ?
  6. Ah cheers! I'll order the one you recommended! Thanks so much ?
  7. So I should just buy a USB -> Audio ports interface? Also do you mean cheap ground internals in the case or the headset?
  8. I use Discord, but I'm testing it also on OBS and Audacity of which the issue still occurs. I also just tried it on my brothers PC and the issue still appears there too.. so it looks like it could be an audio cable problem?
  9. I'll take a look at these, thanks! I'm not sure if it will be software because I just freshly installed Windows around a week ago so I have almost no other software installed (I have the sound drivers though).
  10. My motherboard is a MSI X370 Gaming Titanium so I don't think it's trash tier - and there is no other electrical items on that could cause sound/interference
  11. Currently through the motherboard IO, I have tried using the front IO and it makes little difference
  12. I have a Cooler Master MH751 Headset and every time I talk there is a subtle buzzing in the background of my voice. There is also points where the buzzing will become super loud if I move myself to a certain position. I've tried adjusting the sound settings and different ports - all do not defeat the buzzing. I've heard that using a standalone sound card might help this issue but wondering if anyone else has any ideas, thanks EDIT: The buzzing seems to stop when I touch my computer case with my hand, if this is any help.
  13. I have an ASUS-Z87-A motherboard. But I'm unsure whether to sell this and grab a 4930k and a Z97. I friend said he would give me a 4930k and a ASUS Rampage IV for £220
  14. Yea the only thing stopping me from a newer CPU is the cost of DDR4 RAM, but I already own 16GB of DDR3 RAM.
  15. I'm looking to buy one of these CPUs for an upgrade from my current rig, and I'm unsure whether to go for the 4790K or the 4930K. I will be gaming mainly, but as well as possibly streaming these games as well as doing my University computer science work on it too. Thanks. EDIT: I am currently on an FX 8350.
