That's what my conclusion ended up being, we're going to try with another power supply soon so let's hope that works.

The PSU is a Turbolink atx-xg500w. Not exactly the best psu but it's what he has.

We're going to check the PSU model in a minute but the graphics card doesn't display anything at all

He has a 500W psu and yes all the power connectors are connected

He upgraded from an nvidia card, not sure where he bought the new card from but we did already uninstall the old drivers with DDU

Yes we have tried connecting it to the GPU but that does not work, however we haven't checked the bios settings so doing that might be a good idea

Connected to the mobo currently because the video card doesn't output any video

A friend of mine got his RX580 today, he installed the graphics card into the computer without any problems but as mentioned in the title he doesn't get any video output. The computer powers on without a problem, the fans spin and the motherboard outputs video. We couldn't figure out the problem so i decided to come on here to ask if any of you guys had any idea of what the problem might be.
