  1. Ya pretty new to overclocking, not really a big gamer at all but a major multi-tasker that's why im aiming towards Ryzen my self but the overclocking is more of like "Ohh thats cool" kind of things for me. This is what im looking at for a budget. knowing all ryzen CPUs share the same socket (excluded threadripper) i went with a lower grade to start with a plan to upgrade. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/wTsY3F
  2. I know all Ryzen CPUs are overclock-able, but do i still need a certain motherboard, or have they followed suit?
  3. well i was not aware of this. and moderating would be hard as long as it was planned. timed chat rooms, or only have them available when a moderator was available etc.
  4. I'm aware, but there are chat systems that can help do some of the moderating, censorship and language parameters can be set. then long time trusted forum users could be granted moderator rights to help. etc just saying.
  5. Wouldn't be a good idea for group chats? have groups for specific topics and even just a community chat?.
  6. when does this is it posting at all or just wont do anything?
  7. I was thinking about building a NAS, and if i did I'm going to use THESE if want to use a standard ATX Case with a lot of 5.25 bays in it if not, a rack would be more your more expensive option.
  8. does it have to be an Intel processor or does it matter? Because bestbuy has is selling an Asus X555QA with a core A10 2.4ghz quad-core 1tb hdd 12gb of ddr4 ram for 549.99 (on sale) here http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/asus-x555qa-15-6-laptop-black-silver-amd-quad-core-a10-9600p-1tb-hdd-12gb-ram-windows-10/10748019.aspx?
  9. $100 more for 4Gb extra ram little bit faster cpu gpu is better and has HDR now the only other question you need to ask your self is all that worth $100 to you?

  12. The point of the discussion has nothing to do with vram amount AT ALL. Simply if it would be better to have 2 cards via sli or crossfire or 1 card thats just better then the 2. heres a better example then. would it be better to have 2 gtx 1050 sli or 1 gtx 1060.
  13. I know the gbu architect has a lot to do with performance i just mean in the general sense.
  14. is it just better specs because its only $6(CAD) more then the other.
