  1. Nice work, what would a build like this cost, around $8000.00? Nice work indeed, should be getting some sic fps!
  2. Hmmmm... it's a little early to start a new build but... So, is it running pretty cool and quiet?
  3. I wish I would have got in on the M1 are they going to be making more?
  4. They seem a little tall, are you trying to compensate for some other inadequacy or shortcoming? jk they look good, I'm still waiting for some paint action though!
  5. You can probably use any Linux/BSD distro. I've done it using NetBSD and dual port Intel NICs with an atheros wireless PCI card running in a PIII. The way I configured it was to create a bridge interface using the Intel NICs and wireless card, then had a DHCP server listen on the bridge interface to hand out IP addresses to connected devices. All of the documentation I needed was on the NetBSD website and/or google. Here's an article on setting up NAT on NetBSD: http://www.netbsd.org/docs/network/nsps/config_ipnat.html.
  6. Are these the LEDs you're looking for? http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/964051101/Factory_directly_discount_3mm_round_rgb.html I've never shopped from alibaba before, not too sure how legit they are.
  7. Nice work on the build. I really like the style of the videos too, I've always had a soft spot for time-lapse video.
  8. Your work is inspiring, I have a question about the acrylic panel. Did you have someone mill the edge for you or did you do it yourself and what software if any did you use to model it? The fit on everything is so precise.
  9. Just found this as well: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/26384-24-pin/ I'm still thinking that having the cables wired in directly would look nicer though.
  10. That's what I'm talking about except not ugly!
  11. I'm also thinking of bending the copper pins either 45 or 90 degrees to allow the cables to sit flat against the case, also having a fairly short run of wire to the PSU. I don't think it would be all that risky (although patience would be required). What <motherboard mfg's name removed> doesn't know wont hurt them.
  12. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever wired their power directly to the MB. Something like this is what I'm thinking of:
  13. The A5+ should be pretty good and the price shouldn't break the bank, the LS50's on the other hand. $$$$ What cans did you decide on? (pm me if you like)
