Sorry for necroposting again, but the excitement is real, and I'm just hoping that the project is still alive and healthy. Which it probably is. Also I'm bored and don't know what to do with myself right now.

Official Discord/Twitch (Curse) channel

After a half hearted attempt at finding one, I noticed there wasn't an official Discord or Twitch (Curse Voice) channel. While it's not that necessary as most questions would do better on the forum, small questions such as "when the next video is being posted on Floatplane" (the one that got me to look for a server/channel) would work nicely on it, as the answer would be simple, and hopefully received quickly. Having a server on Discord or Twitch would require a decent amount of work, mainly on the moderation department, it still would be useful for small discussion or questions not worth enough to have a whole thread of their own. Also, a Twitch one might the easiest to set up, as all of your moderators for your channel could extend their skills to the server. Plus it would probably be the easiest to find as on the Twitch Client there's a "join server" button, if one exists for the channel.

does it still work in the laptop? can you confirm the slot works? does the BIOS see it? if it does, a form of Linux might be able to format it that's all I got -

I'm replacing my boot drive from my 1TB HDD to my new SSD and I was able to fresh install windows just fine, except the key for the version on the HDD (didn't format it) is windows 10 education and it doesn't want to activate the pro version on the SSD. is there an easy way to convert my current version to edu? should I reinstall it to Home in hopes it will work better? should I find the .iso file originally used (think its an 8.1 version, so not preferred)? should I buy a key from some shady market? or is there a better option? I have the key linked to my Microsoft account for the edu version I haven't done much on the new install yet so I'm willing to reinstall the proper version

doing a clean install doesn't sound terrible, just annoying as I'll have to reset a bunch of stuff but is there an easier way to copy a bunch of the settings (like startup programs, desktop background+icons, etc.) over from an old install to a new one? or are my hopes too high?

I'm thinking of moving my windows install to a M.2 SSD also, I found this but I'm not sure if it works, so I came here to see if anyone has tested it
