  1. ofcourse this is fake. don't buy any used 10 series nvidia cards. big change it has been used for mining. mining wears the card really bad. friend of mine bought one. very stupid. a week later it broke. no warrenty because it was used for mining Asus said. don't do it. its to big of an risk.
  2. I was just curious since the 20 series will also be based on the pascal architecture if the 20 series will make just as big of an leap as it did from maxwell to pascal. if the 20 series only gets between 5 to 10% of an upgrade ill buy the 10 series for sure. but if its as rediculous as a 80 to 90% of an upgrade like it was with the maxwell to pascal. then i might hold on to my current setup for a while. currently rocking a 960 4gb. this is currently enough power. but with the games getting heavier and heavier by the day i dont know how long it will hang on.
  3. if i buy the shitty founders edition cards from the nvidia website not from a brand like asus or MSI. I can get them for decent prices. Nvidia doesnt give a shit about the mining craze and keeps their founders edition cards at a slightly above MSRP price. Compared to a custom asus strix version i have to pay 200 bucks extra for. Im not a fan of the FE cards. but for the skake of saving 200 bucks ill gladly accept.
  4. Hi guys. here i am to start a new topic. I have no clue to when the new Nvidia 20 series lineup will be released. i don't know either how mutch time nvidia put in between the older gen's either. so is it worth waiting for next gen Nvidia. or should i just pick up a 10 series right now? Im very curious if u guys know something about the new lineup. The only thing i hope for is that they will be priced more towards MSRP value. because currently everything is overpriced.
  5. I figured it out. in germany you guys pay 19% added tax. in The netherlands this will be 21% witch will increase the prices by a bit. i totally forgot to take this into account.
  6. thats also true. but i just discoverd that amazon.de doesnt suport paypal. only credit cards. in the netherlands we never use those so i don't have one. this is a big problem.
  7. i see interesting. might be an good option. however it is really shitty if the card breaks and i have to ship it back for warrenty. easier to just walk to the closest store and return it. but yea for that price. maybe.
  8. true ive looked into this already. but unfortunatly there are very high shipping costs.
  9. if not. than i can put on a custom cooler since there made for fe cards. i think ill buy the 1080 straight from nvidia then. to get past the inflated prices due to cryptomining. this to me looks like the most viable option for anyone who wants to buy a gpu in these unstable times.
  10. Ive searced all over already and found out that the the founders editions from the nvidea.eu website are the cheapest here in the netherlands. the 1060 costs 300 euros while custom designs like asus strix for instance will cost almost 500 euros. the 1070 on nvidia's site is 430 euros witch again is way cheaper than the custom designs. the 1080 costs 599 euros. the 1080 ti 770 euros. it looks to me that the nvidea reference cards are currently the closest to the MSRP value compared to the custom cards from major brands. How? i don't know. however if ill buy one it will be the reference card even though the custom cards are better cooled and are factory overclocked. I dont think its worth 60 to a 100 euros more.
  11. well i live in the netherlands and all the prices are weird. a 1070 cost almost the same as a 1080 with a very tiny difference. thats weird. all cards are around 600-700 euros here 1060-1070-1080. only the 1080 ti is priced a lot higher.
  12. a 1080 ti where i live cost around 950 usd. ( i converted this from euro to usd. since i live in europe.) a 1080 cost around 714 usd. its a big difference. I am a very versitile gamer. i play games like gta v. i also play esports games like overwatch and CSGO. i also play games like battlefiel 1, Skyrim, Dirt 4 and another bunch of racing games. all sorts of stuff ok lets make it easy in eur. 1080= 599 Eur 1080 TI= 770 eur. since i noticed that some of u guys also are from europe
  13. Well the 1080 ti is a bit overkill for me i think. im not planning on gaming at 4k. ill just stay at 1080p 144hz for at least a year or 2-3. a 1080 ti is too overkill in my opinion.
