Wait, you want Stadia Controller?
Have I missed something or it has something that DS4, XBOX One or Steam Controller dont have?
-
@WereCat integrated wifi for a direct connection to the stadia servers
@TopHatProductions115 look for 1070 ti pricing too, you can oc them past 1080 stock levels
-
@LukeSavenije True, but I am still considering getting a GTX 1070 for my laptop. Don't wanna cannibalise that effort by giving my laptop and workstation the similar GPU horsepower. I'd want for the T7610 to outdo my next laptop by a large margin, if possible...
-
again, 1070 ti is 1080 level with a oc
but 1080 ti makes sense
-
In that case, though, what would happen if I OC'd the GTX 1080? Wouldn't that put it out of reach of the GTX 1070 Ti? Also, I'm on used market, so the prices are pretty decent at the moment. I can get a GTX 1080 Ti for 500-600 USD if I play my hand right. That's compared to ~300 USD for the GTX 1070 Ti - which would be sitting right next to my upcoming laptop, in terms of graphical acceleration performance. MXM GTX 1060's are still too expensive as is (with the GTX 1070 being surprisingly cheaper than it on eBay). So, I'll probably end up going with one of these for the laptop if I drop to the GTX 1070 Ti on the workstation:

the 1080 still goes barely above the 1070 ti in some tasks. look at the ones you're doing and make a choice based off that
tho keep in mind the 1070 ti has no pre-binning, so low level 1070 tis can be as good as a high end
