As part of Project Datacentre Evolution, I'll be planning multiple purchases, in order of time sensitivity and cost. Here are the current plans:
- 2019 - GTX 1080/1080 Ti (most time sensitive item)
- 2019/2020 - Project New Client (MXM parts have terrible pricing and availability)
- 2020 - DOOGEE S90 v2 (should be enough time to wait for its release)
- 2020/2021 - Blackmagic Design capture card (to replace the HD60 Pro)
- Unconfirmed - Camera from Blackmagic Design (if I can fit it into the budget)
- 2021 - Project Personal Datacentre (T7610 and Xeons)
- 2021 - Project Personal Datacentre (accompanying parts)
If the parts are still available on the used market (by some miracle), I could try getting the components for Project Personal Datacentre (c7000 setup) later on, since that is intended to become the public-facing portion (for anyone that I allow on it).
Changes can be made, depending upon availability of monetary resources. My first job of the year starts soon...

I want to expand my own collection as well. In particular I've got my eye on the HP DL560 G8 which is a 2U quad socket server and if possible I'd like to try watercooling it.

On a side note, I don't see how I'm going to be able to justify a Stadia Controller...

Just a little after-note:
I have a cheaper option available, for in case I can't afford the E5-2697v2's. Great to have options in a market where prices can change on a whim...

Also, this little component is tempting, since I have a spare mPCI-e Wireless NIC sitting around (since HP BIOS-locks their crap
Could give my next workstation both WiFi and Bluetooth and ditch the current one that I'm using. That one has to be reset every so often, making it more of a liability that an asset...
