Anyone with appreciable assets are going to have a CPA... this crap is only going to affect the middle class a lower population...

The main issue that I can see is this affecting a portion of the millenials that know how to file their own taxes (whether it's a simple 1040EZ or an itemized 1040 with INT, DIV, etc. that would make some CPAs salivate).

@ARikozuM maybe... but a good CPA will do way more than just your taxes. I have my CPA's personal cell phone and answers every time I call. That is why I pay him lots of money... places like Intuit and H&R block are different... they're like a McDonald's of taxes. Services they charge extra for, my CPA includes in many cases. Unlike a good CPA, the business model of those giant tax filers is get to get as many people in and back out as possible to collect fees...if they can sell you on a HORRIBLE tax return loan, even more in their pocket! But I digress... I'm completely on board with the idea of online filing should be available to EVERYONE! Regardless if you're a billionaire or unemployed. Paying the IRS arse-loads of money shouldn't be difficult or expensive and those lobbyists are doing just that (making it difficult and expensive) ?
