I didn't really watch much of the video... Really only just the part about AMD. I don't think AMD is really targeting the gaming market specifically. Seems like they tried to take that market share in the past. Lisa Su isn't stupid. AMD appears to be going for the entire market in several different directions. One big direction is if they can take market share away from Intel with their Epyc CPUs in the data centers... that could yield a huge surge of cash for them and a big blow to Intel.

AMD's GPU market isn't disappointing fans and Vega and Radeon are wonderful for content creation while also being able to game. On top of that, they're not nearly as restrictive as Nvidia when it comes to niche applications like home labs and firmware tweaks. Sure they're not on the same playing field as Nvidia's top GPUs but they're not $1,500-2,500 GPUs either.

This is coming from someone that used to be exclusively Intel + Nvidia. Wouldn't even consider AMD... I took a chance and built a Ryzen based system and the only thing I regret is not waiting the 6 months for Zen+. Seems like Nvidia keeps s***ing on the market by coming out with expensive mid tier cards and insanely priced higher end cards. If anything, my next system may very well be all AMD.
