While my laptop can't handle a lot of my games library, Moonlight game-streaming client makes it so that I have no real reason to upgrade at this point If I simply continue to upgrade the workstation at home, I won't have to be concerned about recent mobile tech, seeing that my Personal Datacentre would all but embarrass the performance in that sector anyhow But that doesn't mean that I won't still consider a mobile upgrade, for when I'm out-of-range of a decent wireless network Now, Desktop/HEDT is another story...
jk - ESXi was never meant to be just for gaming I get questions from people who ask me whether I really need to have such a setup. But I can ask the same of anyone who has a gaming rig - is gaming really necessary? No. But we both like our own niche. In my case, it's different from a lot of people, because I'm not just a gamer. I'm also an enterprise user, with a slightly-limited budget (which steers me away from DDR4 long enough that DDR5 will show up before I upgrade ). And I hate rebooting all the time, so no triple-booting BS. That's for the lazy
