Does anyone here actually know how DLSS works? If so, please explain. I'm seeing videos from certain YouTubers that aren't a fan of DLSS (though they do like RTRT s a feature):

 

 

Does RTRT actually have to be on to enjoy DLSS in all cases, or just in the case of that one game?

    DLSS is really weird right now. Certain cards only support certain resolutions, for example 2060 only 1080p, 2080 only 1440p and 4k.

     

    But i don't think raytracing needs to be enabled, but it really depends on the game.

    GN is almost definitely working on a DLSS video right now. Stay tuned and buy AMD stock ;)

    @Origami Cactus I'm pretty sure DLSS was designed to alleviate the poor performance of Ray Tracing and as a result DLSS only works when RTX is on?
