Just did some simple testing with my new drives (to make sure everything works), and found that I may have a faulty SATA cable. Guess I'll be looking for one, along with the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB ;) That won't stop me from completing the objective, though. I may move the purchase up to either this upcoming Friday or the next if things go right - Prime week means more overtime. A larger paycheck will most likely result...

    Bummer...well at least things are coming along

     

    As for the SATA cable, if you're not looking for anything fancy you might be able to sweet talk a local computer shop out of one. If not consider picking up a few. SATA cables are nice to have around...especially if you decide to ever add more drives to your PCs, it's just one less thing you have to remember to buy in the future.
