Okay - I'm just about tired of VMware and their inability to design/maintain (useful) official documentation for their ESXi product. The last attempt to save the ESXi server was for nought, from what I can tell. I'll wait until the end of the work day - if it doesn't finish grabbing an IP address by 15:00, I'm nuking it and running straight Windows 10 from bare-metal again. Which would suck. Expect a rant in a few hours...
