Unfortunately, @Slayerking92, I have already moved it to the furthest point over, the HX1200i really is a longboi sadly (got the PSU a while ago, long before considering going into another case)
Thanks for the info, @The_Mafia69. My drives are 2x Ironwolf Pro 6TBs, that seem to have operational resliency to 70 deg C, which I never thought was the case. The more you know...

have a read of this for more info but by skimming over this 50 degrees is completely fine

because the hdd get 0 - nothing airflow its likely there will be hot temps
so its hould in theory be fine another way to improve it is more airflow/ fans

Not sure if I'm just behind the times, but holy crap, LTT team has taken off somewhat. Last I saw was somewhat less than https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_list.php?s= is reporting. We're also at number 4! Well done @GOTSpectrum again! Well done to all of us!

I'm from the UK where the panic is setting in fairly well, which is madness, but nonetheless, Folding and this community is giving not just me hope, but also a lot of my elderly parents. Folding@home is a network of volunteer computers distributed around the world that aims to perform biomedical research with the single intent of helping to further understand and develop cures for a range of diseases such as; Alzheimer's, cancer, and Parkinson's. The exact research that is done is simulating the 'folding' of proteins in the body, this is important because the function of a protein id directly related to its physical shape. And this, when the protein is created in the body it needs to reshuffle its shape to get into the correct structure to perform its task. Many illnesses can be linked to faulty proteins in the body such as many cancers and neurological issues, along with a wide number of other general health concerns. This network if compared with the TOP500 list of supercomputers would fall into 2nd, Folding@home is one of the world's fastest computing systems, with a speed of approximately 98.7petaFLOPS. It would be 50% faster than the fastest x86 computer currently listed on the top500.

    COVID-19
But this is not why we are here, we are here to join the legion of other folders from around the globe who have taken up the fight against COVID-19.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are common across the world.  These viruses can cause mild symptoms ranging from a fever and cough to more serious conditions such as severe pneumonia, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.
In December 2019, a new strain of coronavirus (COVID-19) was first identified in Wuhan City, China.  This virus has now spread to other countries.  The UK Chief Medical Officers have declared the risk to the public to be moderate. But the risk to individuals remains low.

    PASSKEYS! (they're really important)

Don't forget to get yourself a passkey from the link below to ensure that you hit the points requirement, the passkey is a feature that was added a while ago to the Folding Client that helps to authenticate each user on the network, an added bonus of this is the fact that it allows you to qualify for QRB(Quick Return Bonus) Points, QRBs are extra points you earn for submitting work units more quickly, such as if you have faster hardware or let the client fold full time, rather than on idle. QRB credit is awarded after 10 WUs have been submitted. You can get your passkey from the link below.

This is just a PSA for the new guys here, the folding team is a small close knit community, so here's a few things I'd like you all to keep in mind. It doesn't hurt to say thank you, if someone has genuinely helped you out don't forget to drop a reaction on their posts, help others where ever you can and finally we are a team first and always.

Check your stats out here! Bare in mind it can take some time for your first WUs to appear so leave it a day or two.

Have either of you tested your ram stick in the other slots? I ask as I have a similar issue with my new system, have a 3900x and Asus rig strix-e x570 mobo, if I use slots A1 & B1 it will not post using D.O.C.P but if I move them to slots A2 & B2 my ram not only runs at D.O.C.P settings but can overclock them too.

You can also test by turning D.O.C.P on and then manually adjust the frequency to a lower setting and see if it posts, my ram is 4000Mhz, but can't go above 3000Mhz unless in second set of slots.

The fireworks look a little overcooked; how long was your exposure and what was the ISO? Either one probably needs reducing.

I'm in love with the image above. Its brilliant. Very nice tones and capture of the shadows and the highlights, especially on a mobile phone camera where the noise and tones always seem to come out and never do the view justice. I very much empathasise with not wanting to carry a camera up that high. Beautifully captures the moment.
In terms of what I'd say you can do to improve the image, I'll ignore the image quality issues present and noise primarily due to the use of a mobile phone camera, I would say that some more context for the image with some more width could be benefical, say with a panorama, either with seperate images you stitch together later on or using the panorama mode I presume your phone has. Or alternatively, changing the perspective and focussing more, if possible, on a route going up to the summit.
You have captured the transition from light to dark across the frame and also framed it so that the horizon is dominant on the image and you avoid the excess noise from capturing more of the darker sky.

This is my image, taken on a Canon 760D, stitched together in post in Lightroom, of a small river in Snowdonia, Northern Wales, UK.

As far as i know you can't outright buy a domain name.

The closest you can get to owning one is registering one, and so long as you keep renewing the "lease" it'll stay registered to you.

Yeah, you rent it and pay yearly for it.  Some countries still have lifetime purchase, and some new TLDs have different terms (not one year) but those are crap.

I'd recommend Namecheap (I use them for my domains), be careful with others, read reviews etc  ... for example GoDaddy used to have some "search for your domain" box on their site and you entered the domain to check if it's free and they would automatically register for a short period, forcing you to buy it from them if you wanted it. Stick to bigger ones, some of the smaller ones and those with very cheap prices.. check terms, some may give you cheap price  by forcing you to minimum 3 years of having domain at them or other tricks.
For example, you may get domain cheaper bundled with a company's shared hosting plan which may be free for the first year (included in domain name price) but afterwards costing you 1-2$ a month or something like that, so in the end you pay more for the domain for one year compared to buying from a bigger registrar.

Correct, the organization that controls them does not sell at the retail level. Instead you must go through a registrar (like GoDaddy, 1&1 Internet, etc.) in order to buy a domain. It sucks and really shouldn't be that way, but it is what it is.

You are right though, with the fragility of the leica kit. Theyre weatherproof in some cases, but far from knock proof, which is testamount to the steel nerves of Excelsior for letting Linus hold it...
Sadly yes, the interesting pricing that Leica uses on its products has a tendancy to screw over anyone who wants any of this sort of kit and isnt a large scale construction / design companies which can just throw money at it and not notice, is kinda sucky but, meh, the very best from the swiss precicion giant kinda demands a price like that...

Oh I don't doubt it will last a lot longer than 2 years, let alone my jokery of 6 months, if properly taken care of, and I'd wager you being right that even out-of-warranty repairs would be totally doable for years since this is a professional piece of equipment for which Leica would have repair centres for, just like Canon with their DSLR cameras. What I was getting at was the fact that you get a 1 year warranty out of the box, with a mere extension of 1 additional year, which is pretty sad for something that costs as much as a car, since cars come with 5-10 year warranties. https://lasers.leica-geosystems.com/ca/sites/lasers.leica-geosystems.com.ca/files/leica_media/product_documents/internationallimitedwarranty_english_2013_0.pdf

Regardless, I agree it's still a wicked product that I'd love to have just to play around with, but alas, I don't want to spend $30,000 CAD

This sort of kit would have parts replaced on a rolling basis for calibration and operation purposes with the Leica support maintenence centres, so would go for much longer than 2 years, and if you look at the similar products they make that are more dimensionally accurate, Like the Leica MS60 they are more robust so and perform in a very similar manner. From personal experience in the construction industry, I doubt these would be used much as 4mm tolerances for as-built surveys isnt the best. The Leica MS60 can do it to 0.1mm, rather than the 4mm, but their scan rate is only 1000Hz rather than the whopping 100,000 or so of the one they showed in the video.

It is very cool bit of kit though and hats off to LMG for showing it off.
