  1. Here, I got a take. I'm not too sure about the audio, as I'm quite ignorant in that regard PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i5-10600K 4.1 GHz 6-Core Processor £245.58 @ Aria PC CPU Cooler Scythe Ninja 5 43.03 CFM CPU Cooler £50.73 @ Overclockers.co.uk Motherboard MSI Z490-A PRO ATX LGA1200 Motherboard £133.44 @ Ebuyer Memory Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory £57.87 @ CCL Computers Storage Western Digital Blue 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive £51.99 @ Amazon UK Storage Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive £51.25 @ Amazon UK Video Card EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB XC3 BLACK GAMING Video Card £742.67 @ Overclockers.co.uk Case Metallic Gear Neo Air ATX ATX Mid Tower Case £55.90 @ Amazon UK Power Supply Super Flower Leadex III Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply £99.95 @ Currys PC World Wireless Network Adapter TP-Link Archer T6E AC1300 PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter £38.99 @ Amazon UK Monitor AOC CQ32G1 31.5" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor £309.99 @ Ebuyer Keyboard Kingston HyperX Alloy FPS Pro Wired Gaming Keyboard £61.43 @ Amazon UK Mouse SteelSeries Rival 310 Wired Optical Mouse £39.96 @ Currys PC World Business Headphones Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset £49.99 @ Amazon UK Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total £1989.74 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-10-07 15:40 BST+0100 I'm fairly sure that it's better than a certain list above, though
  2. To be honest, I'd rather have a nicely OC'd Rx570 8 gig, instead of the gimped 3 gig 1060.
  3. well, it is a 13 year old yorkfield chip, and will certainly not hold a candle to anything from the latter half of the previous decade, however, I'm fairly sure that a nice 4.1GHz oc will make it a decent-ish chip for mid-range 1080p gaming, paired with what I assume is the 4 gig rx570
  4. saying that a groupreg is good for anything above ivy, or even that, is rather odd
  5. that's because you're running Ivy, and therefore, don't have to deal with c6/c7 sleep states. If you had anything haswell and up, your groupreg would have a field day coming out of teh c7 sleep states, seeing that it lacks UVP
  6. Fairly easy m8, quite disgraceful as to how you don't know how to do it
  7. Eh, seems as if the RnG gods decide your luck with windows
  8. That assumption is sketch as best, as we don't really have a big enough sample size to see that Win 10 hates old HW (guy running sandy with 0 problems here)
  9. Darkflash DLM21 mesh, a good cheap mesh fronted mATX case
  10. In Win PB650 (it's pre-order, though, currently) https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/k8wkcf/in-win-pb-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-pb-650w you don't exactly need a 650w unit, but it's one of the best units in your price range
  11. Huh, https://www.itopya.com/asus-rog-strix-550w-80-gold-full-moduler-135mm-fanli-psu/, the ROG strix seems to ber your best bet, seeing how it is available at a heavily discounted price. I think that this is one of the newer models, without the tripping with high-transient issues of the older focus units
  12. adding onto that, fractal ion+ 560w, the NZXT C 550, FSP hydro X, etc
  13. adding on to that, XPG Core reactor 550w, Phanteks AMP 550w, SS Gx-550, Cougar GX-F, etc, if you find them at an equal/lesser price than those mentioned above by Haro
