It would net ~ 40% increase in performance, on average, in a GPU bound scenario. The extra VRAM is nice too.

The 960 is rated at a lower wattage than the 660 Ti. If you run the 660 Ti without issue, the 960 will be perfectly happy.

now that ive looked into the gtx 555, seems it may have come out of my friends old X51 R1, which was an alienware prebuilt, so no nvidia badging / stickers or anything wouldve been on the GPU

Probably best to see if I can get the 950 then, I don’t need a sizeable upgrade tbh the 660ti does like 150+ frames on league w/ all high settings

Tried the gt520 in a different pc today so it's not the graphics card that isn't working, I have that power supply you recommend on order though.
