Everytime something changes even a tiny little bit you'll have people having heart attacks about how it was sooo much better before, 3 months later when the next change comes it's the same thing all over only now it's the one they used to complain about that's sooo much better, etc. And seriously, the thumbnails? Don't they pretty much go away the second you start the video? I don't see what the big deal is. Yeah, some of the videos have been bad, but some have been good too, and some of the older videos have also been bad, it's just that no one remembers anymore because it's not really that important. It's pretty much impossible to only make content that everybody likes 100% of the time, because people are bloody different (thankfully). I'm not going to be intereseted in every single video, and depending on who's hosting I might not even watch even if the topic does interest me, but that's the thing... no one is forcing me to.

Sorry to hear. But yeah, Paypal where you live might be all fine and dandy, but in my little corner of the world it kinda died 10 years ago or so and is now both troublesome and ridiculously expensive to use. I'd honestly rather give Luke free access to my accounts than pay 10-15 dollars for a 3 dollar subscription with Paypal eating most of it.

The update I'm really waiting for is the one where they tell us it's finally possible to sign up for Floatplane without selling your soul to Paypal. (Yes, I know they're working on it and it's going to take a while, but I'm still looking forward to it like a child for xmas). Also, Turnip.

1 for gaming, 1 for work running CentOS and other stuff, 1 rather old pc for older games like the original Fallouts (because screw emulators), and then a normal laptop for ordinary stuff and an old notebook running XP because I use certain programs that are not updated anymore but are still the best solutions for certain things. Oh and a mac mini that's dusted off very rarely because Qlab. I think that's everything...

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say gigantic botnet.

Right now the main thing for me is the top menu that just seems overcrowded and busy, but that might just take some getting used to. Profiles confused me for a bit with line after line of "X reacted to Y" stuff, but I'm guessing that's just the forum catching up on old stuff and will be a lot less spammy going forward. I'm too new to the forum to really have figured out how the reputation thing works. I was only at around 30 so going down to 0 isn't a big deal, although I did like the old display (on profiles) better. I do really like the way the various like options have been grouped together in posts though, at least in day theme it looks nice and clean.

Don't remember which specific game was the very first, but it was on the Commodore 64 (no, I'm not that old, we just happened to have one), so probably Bubble Bobble or something like that, possibly Jeff Minter's Attack of the Mutant Camels even. It'll likely be one of those two.

Or... maybe we could just let James be his own person? Far out, I know.

That will totally depend on what all might come out these next few years, both game- and hardware-wise. As it sits right now I probably won't mess with it unless something breaks, I'm actually pretty content at the moment.
