  1. upgraded to asrock b450 pro4 - get stable 3466mhz on ram. Test 3hours in memtestx64 thx everyone. topic can be closed
  2. Hello everyone! NEED HELP. I have at the moment r5 1600 3,8, asus b350 prime plus, hof 8x2gb 3600mhz, but working stable only at 2933mhz, when i put 3200 - it just start crashing every 5 minutes. And I think the problem is the motherboard, because my friend has a system i7 8700k and most budget mobo, we put my ram in to his mobo and we get easly 3466 mhz w/o any settings up, even dont touch any timings etc. Someone can help and say whats wrong with me, or RAM, or MOBO. As my friend said, i need to change my mobo to something new like b450 or x470, and my ram will work at 3200/3333 mhz (i also hear is that more ram frequency is, then ryzen works faster, otherwise i get more fps since i have 1440p 165hz monitor). If he right, can u suggest me some mobos? or even better just switch to 2600 and b450/x470 mobos? Thanks and sorry for my english. i really mad because my ram cost like a new cpu and dont work properly ; (
  3. Then what is the point of the G-Sync if the picture is the same tearing if the game is below 100 fps? As I understand it, G-Sync should provide a smooth picture even when your FPS is below the maximum monitor refresh rate (for example, my monitor is 165hz, but the system gives out only 90 fps).
  4. Did everything you said, Updated NVIDIA drivers again (388.13), disable gaming mode, dvr, game bar, xbox etc. Disable Fast StartUp Windows 10 - reboot. disable V-Sync in NVCP and in-games. I do not understand what's going on. Either I overestimate G-Sync or it does not work. For example, GTA 5, my FPS never reaches 165, most often it's 110, very rarely drops to 80 (in areas which alot of trees and brushes u know). And when G-Sync is ON in NVCP for both windowed and fullscreen, I definitely see a blur, a jam/tearing and so on (although in fact the G-Sync should not let it happen). I turned OFF the G-Sync and again started GTA5, and what? The same situation. When my fps near 100 or higher its perfectly smooth, but when it goes lower 100, it starting blurrin/tearing/jamin etc. As I understand it, G-Sync should provide a smooth picture even when your FPS is below the maximum monitor refresh rate (for example, my monitor is 165hz, but the system gives out only 90 fps). But the lower the FPS, the worse the picture is. And the difference in the pictures in the low FPS with the included G-Sync and off - absolutely no. Maybe I'm still overestimating the G-Sync and or just do not understand correctly how it works? Thanks
  5. Hello everyone! Please help me to solve this I can not understand whether G-Sync is working or not. PC SPECS: Ryzen 1600 (OC 4.0Ghz stable), ASUS PRIME B350 PLUS, Corsair RM550x, Thermalright True Spirit 140 Direct, KFA2 HOF DDR4 2x8=16Gb (Overclock 3666Mhz Superstable), SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250gb, MSI GTX1070 Armor 8G (stock), DELL S2417DG (165HZ, G-SYNC) Most of time i playing only 2 games (CSGO and Quake Champions and its okay), but sometimes i wanna play some solo games like Rise of The Tomb Rider, Doom, GTA5, Wolfenstein etc. And i can't understand wtf is going on. I have G-Sync ON (NVCP), V-Sync forced to ON (NVCP) and V-Sync OFF in-games, any buffers is off in-game tho. In OSD menu (monitor) its says G-Sync Mode, bump a bar which notify G-Sync is ON at left side monitor, no any fps limiter, refresh rate in-game choosen to 165 like in NVCP, native 2560x1440 resolution. And my fps in solo games never exceed my monitor refresh rate (165hz), its basically 75-130fps but games still stuttering and tearing. For example without G-sync and V-sync in games like CSGO or Quake Champions its so damn smooth (fps in this 2 games like 500-600 in CSGO, and 180-200 in Quake)!!!. When deal is going to Solo games, i simply cant see any difference between G-sync on or off. Games just tearing asf like at my older 17 inch 59hz monitor. And i never seen G-sync in action. Also all drivers include chipset, and NVIDIA GPU are latest on the moment. What i am doing wrong??? The only thing i can say surely, its when fps is going near 120 in GTA5 (basically its 100-110) game starting looks smoother (seems like thats how games should looks like when g-sync is WORKING). I heard that memory of this graphics cards is maded on MICRON chips instead of SAMSUNG, and they can stutter, but in this case thats means absolutely nothing. Please explain if you can. Thank you and sorry for my English : )
  6. Hello Everyone. Tricky question. In a couple of days I'm going to spend on gtx 1080, and then I thought about it. My Ryzen 1600 is enough for such a video card? A month later I'm going to buy a monitor Dell S2716DG (2560x1440 / 144hz). There will be no bottleneck etc? Can my processor use the maximum performance of 1080? Thank you very much
  7. Seems like i will buy AOC. Thank you very much!
  8. Just want to make sure that the AOC I will not have any disappointments about the quality of the picture and any delays/input lags/blur while flickering in fast action, and so on. Most of the time I play Quake and CSGO, and of course I would like the monitor to work as it should for such money. Thanks for your replys anyway! Last question is whats Overdrive function doin? Pushing panel to 165hz or what? How it works?
  9. This monitor has an IPS panel. It is exactly slower than the TN panel (at least on paper). Have you tried playing some fast enough shooters? (UT, Quake)? You can sense any delay between your actions and what the monitor displays. Or maybe some kind of color distortions/blur while you flickering your mouse? Thanks
  10. do you have AG271QG or X ?
  11. Hello everyone! I ask for help in choosing a monitor with good colors, with the very minimum delays, input lags, good response time that is only possible, as well as for a competitive/fast-paced games (QC, UT,CSGO etc). Given the above criteria, my choice fell on Dell S2716DG and AOC AG271QG. From what I've heard, Dell is a good enough monitor, but I do not like the standard gamma 1.9 and the lack of settings in the OSD. Also, many ppl complain about problems with the coverage of the display itself and the inversion of pixels. But this is a monitor with a TN panel (should be the fastest panel of those that is). At the same time, the AOC has an IPS panel, and the response time, input lag, delays should be slightly higher than that of the TN panels. Who can tell me what the delays, input lags, response time (feels some delay in fast action) is with this monitor? How much blurry it is? There be no problems while play some fast games like Quake for example? I'm not really worried about 150% percent color reproduction, I do not do video / photo editing, but sometimes I'd like to watch movies with decent colors. Thanks! Sorry for my Englando
