  1. I bought a new M.2 wifi card for the designated M.2 wifi card slot on my motherboard and then I purchased an antenna kit with the naivety that they would just work together, oh what a fool i was. When they finally arrived in the mail, I discovered, to my dismay, that the wards on board connectors and the ends of the cables don't actually connect with each other. How can determine what cables will work with a certain wifi card?
  2. It appears that the price has been lowered on Newegg, so thats a thing. Guess it won't be ab issue after all.

  4. I am currently building a PC and i found my motherboard on Ebay and on Newegg. They appear to be the same, brand new motherboard but the Ebay ad was much cheaper. Should i trust Ebay or stick with Newegg?
  5. To be honest i'm not really sure what mid gaming was. I've been watching a few channels, including Linus, I saw a midpoint between a dirt cheap PC and a top of the line PC was between 1K-3K, keeping in mind that I was probably wrong. For the reason behind my actual budget, Is i'm honestly just 17 and don't have any major monetary responsibilities for the next year.
  6. I've spent the last couple days working on this build and its my first one, so I wanted to post it to get some criticism. I wanted to stick to a $2,000 budget for a mid gaming desktop. 8. embarrassingly, the specs on parts or what the parts actually do and why they are useful. I don't know what most of them mean. Is bigger always better? what are all these smaller parts that i have never heard of?
  9. Hey guys. So I heard from a buddy of mine that Linus is a good source to learn about computers, but i'm having a hard time actually understanding some (most) of the language used just because i'm so new to this. Are there any videos on Linus' Youtube channel, or perhaps other sources, that I can use to learn more?
