  1. Hi, i've been doing a lot of research and slowly becoming tired of it. i've been looking at the best gaming monitor i can get for preferably under/around £300 The features i want are 27", 144hz and a curved display, MSI offers SO MANY monitors that i can't keep up with comparing them all to each other. Currently i think the best im going to get is the MSI Optix Mag271CV for 1080p. i found it for £265 1440p is a bit out my budget but i found the MSI Mag271CQR for £350. Any recommendation please. are there other monitors that will do better?. researching into this is really making me tired now.
  2. so would you recommend the MSI MAG271CQR. i can't seem to find anywhere that sells a 31.5" MSI Optix MAG321CQR except for a really bad reviewed website. i was also planning on going duel monitor but with a 31.5" i won't be able to
  3. Hi, i've been doing some research on what new monitor to get. Im looking for something thats 27" 144hz and va and 1440p and preferably curved. so far i've found 2 i'm torn between and would like some reccomendatoins between them or maybe others you think are better for the price. i found the 27" MSI Optix MAG271CQR Curved Monitor and the AOC CQ32G1 31.5" QHD FreeSync 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor From the rewies and price im leaning more towards the AOC, I love RGB but on a monitor even i think its a bit pointless haha. just wondering if the worse brand (AOC) will come with any compromises and if 31" will be to big. im using a 24" 144hz TN currently and though that 27" would be perfect but from looking at reviews people seem to love wide monitors so as a whole im leaning towards the AOC. (Yes i have the desk space and im buying it 1440p for when i get my new gpu in a few months, future proofing. I have no problem gaming on it in 1080p ) Opinions?
  4. Hi, im currently contemplating selling my entire gaming setup and was wondering how much of a price more experienced people would put on it. I was hoping to list it for around £900,maybe more. Is that reasonable? Case: Aerocool playa Fans: 3x Corsair HD120s + 2 extra fans Motherboard: MSI B450 gaming pro carbon CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x Ram: 2x8GB DDR4 3200mhz G.skill Trident Z RGB GPU: MSI GTX 970 PSU: Thermal take 600w SSD: 240GB SSHD: 1TB Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24", 1920 x 1080, 1ms, 144hz Keboard: Corsair k70 Rapidfire RGB (Cherry mx speed) Mouse: Logitech G502 Mousemats: 1: 90 x 42 cm and 1: 35 x 25 cm Microphone: Neewer NW- 800 With NW-100 phantom Power supply and USB to AUX adaptor Speakers: some old Logitech ones. probably worth £10 I way also thinking of including the desk in the listing but its reasonably large and i no longer have the assembly instructions so i think it'll be more of an inconvenience for transport and assembly. Same with the chair but that cant be taken apart.
  5. The Msi gtx 1070 has a 8pin connector socket and a 6pin connector socket whereas my PSU only has a 6+2(8) pin connector. Will the GPU be able to run on a 8pin connector and if so will there be any performance impacts for not using both the 6 pin and 8pin connector? Also, will this cause any problems with overclocking?
