  1. Unfortunately, i don't have a spare. But i tried testing it with a paperclip and the psu run just fine.
  2. I actually have this rig since 2014 or something and decided to give it to my brother when i got a new one several years ago. He only uses it mostly for work like amazon workspace, microsoft word/excel and designing apps like photoshop, illustrator, etc. He also play games on it but only overwatch and just some random emulator games on 60fps monitor so i think it wouldn't be really of a problem for him. But actually, he's wondering if there'd be a build he can find for $500 that can run similarly as that one? I haven't been following the market for several years so i really don't have any clue of the current prices and builds. Or maybe you can recommend a new motherboard & processor could still work with that GPU & PSU?
  3. Yep! I've had this one since 2014 iirc. I already replaced the PSU & RAM last month. That's what i was wondering too but im still kinda lost cause it's working completely fine and my brother was able to shut it down normally yesterday and it won't boot up this time. Should i just buy a new motherboard or CPU? Or Is there any way to actually diagnose it first which one is broken so we can buy only what's needed?
  4. It's like using a pirated software, they aint gonna do anything to you. Unless you make a business out of it. Btw, been using PS1 & PS2 emulators since 2015 or something. I remember there's this one thing you needed (bios or something) to extract from your ps2 but if you don't have one you could just download one from the internet (which is what i did). Not sure if you can play online tho, i only played offline games. I've been watching PS3 emulator (RPCS3) several years ago but haven't tried it since. Iirc, its becoming more and more stable like the ps1 & ps2 emulators so there's that.
  5. It was working just fine before i shut it down and i shut it down properly and all of a sudden it won't boot up. I've already tried: Reseating ram & gpu Using/testing each stick on every slot cleared/reset cmos power cycle unplugged/plugged everything And still nothing. Whenever i turn it on, the cpu & psu fans start spinning and it reboots immediately after 1-2seconds. no beeps, or anything. I now wonder, which is dead, the CPU or the MOTHERBOARD? Im actually thinking of just getting a new motherboard but still not sure if it's the dead one or the cpu. Is there any guide i can ready on how to troubleshoot whichever part is failing? Specs: CPU: i5-4570 Board: H87M-D3H GPU: GTX 650 ti boost RAM: 2x8GB 1866Mhz DDR3 HyperX Fury PSU: CoolerMaster MWE 500
  6. What if a monitor have the same response time, same refresh rate, same 1080p resolution, same 24inch display and same motion blur reduction, Would you still pick the TN over the IPS or would you go for VA over those two? Which one do you think would be the best or they're technically all the same now, except the colors?
  7. Okay, i got it now. Thanks a lot for reply i really appreciate it!
  8. Sorry for confusing you, my english isn't so good. What i was asking, is if i only wanted to update it to F25 and im currently on F3, do i have to update my bios to each version one by one like F5, F6, F7 til i get to F25 or i could just go ahead and update to F25 directly?
  9. Im not really a techy guy and i never really updated my bios since i didn't have any problem with it. But lately, im having issues with my memory so im thinking of updating my bios but im kinda not sure how i should do it exactly. Here's my Motherboard's link: https://www.gigabyte.com/ph/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios My current BIOS' version is F4 and i wanted to update it to F25, should i just download and update it to F25 directly? Or should i download each version and update it one version at a time till F25?
  10. May i know at which bios version you got it working at full speed?
  11. I just checked this one on the local store, sadly they didnt have this one. Have you overclocked it to 3200mhz with just an auto settings on XMP? Or you're just running on stock? Is this it: CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 Just wondering if you have overclocked it to 3200mhz with just an auto settings on XMP? Or you're just on stock speed? Btw, Is this it: F4-3200C16D-16GTZN
  12. So i had G.Skill Flare 2x8GB (3200mhz) then one of the sticks died after over a year so i decided to get a new pair and it also died again today, after a year. So maybe some of you know a good alternative, a different brand maybe 'cause im getting tired of this G.Skill dying so quickly. Im not a techy guy so maybe you could suggest a specific ram that is good for Ryzen 1700X & AB350-Gaming-3. (I might use auto xmp as well). Preferably 2400mhz stock, if there is any? EDIT: I just visited our local store and here are the stocks available: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX - (CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16) CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16) Gigabyte Aorus (GP-AR32C16S8K2HU416R) Kingston HyperX Fury (HX432C16FB3AK2/16) G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (F4-3200C16D-16GTZN) Do you think any of them would work with my cpu & mobo? Im having doubts cause all of the sticks i listed above weren't listed on the qvl list of my mobo. Im wondering if i'd still be able to achieve 3200mhz with just auto settings on xmp? Im thinking between Gigabyte Aorus or Corsair VENGEANCE LPX but which one among the 5 do you think is the best?
  13. Found it, didn't notice it was on the auto-hiding sidebar on bios. (sorry for the blurry image)
  14. Sorry for dumb question, how to do this exactly? I tried going to bios but cant seem to find that setting
