  1. That does sound like a good idea, but the crashes are so random and I don't have a way to force them. That being said I don't have a lot of peripherals but it might be worth a shot.
  2. I got the PSU cleaned and ran a memory test(no errors were found), I will try to find a replacement PSU, will keep yo updated
  3. Lately my computer has been acting weird, it shuts down at random with no blue screen, no warning. I thought it might have to do with my overclock (I was reaching 4.9 GHz with 1.385V but for everyday use i kept it at 4.5 GHz) but even after reverting back to stock it keeps crashing. It wasn't a heat relates issue as I have a Corsair H100I and during normal usage the CPU never even reached 70ºC.It could be my PSU but it's a 1year old Corsair G550M 550W PSU so i doubt that the system instability is to blame on the PSU. I suspect it might have to do with my motherboard (Asus Maximus VIII Ranger), it's not the first time I have had problems with an Asus motherboard, in fact this is my second one, my first MB died after 4 months. I have heard from other people that they also have had trouble with non ROG Asus motherboards that weren't manufacturing defects but "features". Do you think that it might be the same in my case?
