  5. Planning a new build. It will be used for gaming. Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z490-P Ram: Corsair Vengaence RGB Pro DDR4 2x8GB @ 3200Mhz PSU: Corsair RM 750x Graphics Card: ASUS Geforce RTX 2060 Dual EVO OC CPU Cooler: CM Masterliquid ML240L CPU: Intel Core i5-10600K Case: Fractal Design Define S2 (Black) Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD Id like to know if everything is compatible and if it is a good choice. 7. I have a gaming PC and im used to both OS's so that doesent really make a difference, how is the build quality of the Dell?
  8. So, ive had my Macbook Air 13" model 2015 for about 4 years now, and i think its time to upgrade, its been in some rough weather and both the USB ports are busted, so im thinking its time to look for a new one. Im looking for recommendations based on my needs listed below. Portable - I will be using it exclusively for watching Netflix and browsing the web as well as school work, i will carry it almost daily around with me in a PC bag. Durable - Ive been quite satisfied with the Macbooks build quality, most of my former laptops have snapped at the hinges long before this one, and i treat them quite roughly, so a premium build and a metal chassy is a must. Fast and Reliable - I dont want a slow laptop, so a ok/decent processor, 8+GB of ram and fast SSD is a must, the SSD doesent need to have tons of storage, 128GB is quite enough, but i always have like 25 pages and 10+ word documents open at a time, so it being fast and responsive is a must. I appriciate any advice Id like to spend as little as possible, but im aiming for my budget at around 1500USD. However if the laptop is a great deal, im ceirtainly willing to stretch that abit

  13. Im attempting to achieve Open NAT on my Xbox One, UnPn is enabled and ive attempted to port forward, allthough im not sure ive done it correctly... I still have a Moderate NAT type... Ports i wish to open: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP) Screenshot of what ive done: Have i done it correctly? Or is there something im missing? Any help is greatly appriciated

  19. So, apperantly there was sowing needle stuck inside the socket where i plugged in my mac charger. It made a large burst/flash and the power went out. Now this is the result. Tried to take a picture of the charger the best i can, but it appears that the silver metal on the outside has been melted away to reveal something gold beneath. Anyone have any idea if it is safe to use? Cause it still works. sorry if this was posted in the wrong subcategory
  20. Trash one at my job, and ive been tasked with finding a solution Thank you very much
  21. I want to connect a desktop to a speaker system, but the speaker system has a 3.5mm Jack whilst the computer only has 2 USB ports. Is it possible to use some sort of cable to bridge the gap so that the speakers can work with this computer? IE plug the speaker jack into a cable that has a jack entrance on one end and a USB connector on the other end for connection to the computer?
  22. At my work, our current computer situation leaves us without cables for a few weeks, and its an old windows 7 desktop computer. It doesent have wifi so i bought a wifi usb dongle to temporarily remedy the situation. But i needed to install the drivers for the dongle on the computer, which requires and internet connection, so i attempted to connect my iphone 7 to the computer using an iphone charger and share my 4g to get the drivers installed, but when i shared the internet via tethering (following instructions found on google) the computer did not find my iphone 7 as an option to connect. I attempted several times. Any ideas? (Not 100% sure if this was posted in the correct sub forum, i apologize in advance)
