thus meaning, you most likely will have to RMA it.

Jumpers, glad you found the error.
And yes, load optimized settings would be the correct choice.

Zero regrets. Took less than a day to relearn Android. I imagine there's a honeymoon period here, but seriously. I. LOVE. THIS. PHONE.

1 criticism: it's too fast--im trying to read my notifications and it opens. I can probably tweak it in settings I know...

I used mine over 6 times over 12 months. %1000 worth the $5 I spent on it. and I get to overclock my laptop thanks to that device.

Check BIOS/UEFI version.  AFAIK, there was a chipset issue with early sandy/ivy bridge systems that caused this.

I put some Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on my Clevo P650SG, it dropped temps by about 15°C, from about 90°C++ to high 70s on the CPU, and about the same difference on my GPU to about low 70s (Singapore is warm). One thing you have to be very slow with is the liquid metal syringe, too little force and nothing comes out, too much all of it comes out. A few months down the road, I just took it apart last weekend to take a look, it has mostly dried up, but there was also a medium-ish drop of it to the side, as I have put too much the first time round, so I just spread that drop back onto the CPU and put everything back together. Also took apart the GPU heatsink and found it is dry, so I cleaned it off and replaced with regular thermal compound as I have ran out of Conductonaut after using it for delidding my 7700K. And oh boy liquid metal is an ass to get rid of.

Alright, lets actually look at some graphs.  Here is the price history of a random selection of 1060s and 1070s.  Although it does seem like the prices are a touch lower than the start of February overall (I think, I didn't actually average anything), it seems like there was a huge spike then.  The general trend still seems to be up though and I wouldn't buy any of these cards for the asking price.  TBH right now if I was building a computer I'd get a used 970 or 980 off Ebay and hold until 10th gen prices eventually fall, tho I have no clue when that could be.

I just put liquid metal in my ge72 2qf with a 970m yesterday. Dropped 4-8c, heatsinks are tiny so i didn't expect it to be crazy. There's going to be aluminum in there but if there's copper touching the die you should be fine. Sadly there was aluminum directly on where my cpu is so i couldn't put liquid metal on that.

I doubt it, probably just some sale(s) or something. The prices won't fall anytime soon, sadly.

just did this with an old PSU, blues are 12 and 5v that connect to yellow and red and grounds are black, white and brown and nothing exploded
but companies worth billions can't make standarized cables

Team_RGB reacted to SupaKomputa in Did I just kill EVERYTHING on my motherboard?
Nah, i don't think it would destroy all of your stuff.
Most likely gone : Motherboard & GPU (anything that is connected straight to the psu)

    Unlikely : M2 & Rams
    Most Unlikely : CPU
Why unlikely? The current needs to go to the motherboard power regulator first.
Unless you have a very high voltage or current spike (like lightning strike) it won't break those.
